Check that coax and make sure it dosen't have a copper center wire. The concrete cutting blades are diamond tipped and if they still have some edge you might be able to sell them, if they rented the cutter they just through the blades out even if they are not worn out. 25:34 the green tape to tape the ground wire there is red,blue white for 120/208/ for a Y System . Then brown, purple, yellow, gray for 277/480 and orange for 120/240 high leg Delta system we call the collor tape "phase tape "
And here in ukraine tape is colored for sake of being colored. Difference only comes in material tape is made of. Must be a nightmare to carry a bunch of rolls for everything...
Green tape is to mark a wire as a grounding conductor,,, not neutral,,, :-)
Correct and Black and Red are usually positive and white is the neutral
@@seanall1 on AC circuits. On DC circuits the Red is positive and black is Negative. I've worked on wiring in old (1940's) buildings where the green wire was hot also, so old that the outer braid was woven cotton covering rubber inner. About a foot into the conduit and the wire looked like it had just been installed and it's 70+ years old.

15:55 we used to send our our saw blades to be repaired and balanced, cost a little money, but then the blades are quite valuable.

Colored electrical tape: Called "phasing tape" in the trade, used to identify wires as to use. Large sizes of wire are generally seen with black insulation, making it necessary to identify. The code allows paint or tape, to "permanently identify" these wires. Here's a list of the most popular color codes: GREEN always safety ground. WHITE is always neutral, and GRAY can also be used as neutral. (we use gray as the neutral in 480/277 systems) RED and BLUE are used as hots, or phase conductors. BROWN, ORANGE, or YELLOW are phase conductors for 480/277 systems. This is a great guide when working on a system where there is no one handy with knowledge of the particular system.

the colored tape is called "phasing tape", green=ground, white=neutral, red= hot leg, black=hot leg in 240v plus. in 120v black= hot leg, white=common, green or bare wire=ground. multi strand wire has numbers on the coatings of each wire, the tape is used to mark what number wire will be used for which leg on the other end.

Watched a few of his, but the same old ingots get a bit boring- reckon if he cast up gearknobs for popular car models he could get a widespread recognition not to mention make extra money.
The colored electrical tape are used sometimes to certify that you have inspected electrical cord on tools and extension cords on a quarterly basis. Green is for April May and June

The green tape is for the ground wire. Black/Red/Blue for low voltage. Brown/Orange/Yellow for high voltage. It’s called Phasing tape. Just helps identify conductors when they aren’t colored already.

On house AC power:
White is Neutral
Green is Ground/Earth
Red is Hot, one side of Panel 120 VAC
Black is Hot, other side of Panel 120 VAC
things like the Dryer, and Ovens run 240 VAC, using both the Black & Red to get 120 volts on each for a combined 240 volts.
For AC, the Black and Red wires are Hot,

Green in electrician terms..is usually for grounding circuits.
The decorations on the horse halter are often made from Sterling silver. Go back and check! Silver is at $26 an ounce.

I am retired and love to tinker, diving for me isnt about the haul to the scrap yard but all the cool stuff I can repair, modify or jack up.... Have you ever thought about expanding where you scrap at? Apartments, businesses, residential? Only asking cause I have a friend who does. They call him all the time now. He picks all the scrap up for free. They give him so much...its pretty awesome. It helps them too. So win win. You may want to try just incase. It may help you out some more:)
Apartments/residential is mostly household garbage. YUK!

Color Electric tape is for legally marking the types of wire. You can for instance use a red wire as a ground if you wrap the end in green tape.
Please go out more often Just love you to one day find a valuable item you deserve it especially when you’re diving into rotting leaves and getting pricked at the same time

Those concrete cutting wheels can EASILY be made into clocks with the purchase of a clock motor and large set of hands. They can be purchased at the local craft store and they are cheap! No numerals needed. The size, once hung on a wall from the back of the clock motor, makes it easy easy to read the correct time. Can do the same with CD’s if you want a smaller size. Have made several for family Xmas gifts. Easy to do Tennis Shoe!

I went dumpster diving today not something I’ve been doing in the past but you have inspired me. The problem is it was raining and I fell out of the dumpster trying to step onto my truck busted my ass pretty good.

Colored electrical tape is for making identification stripes on black wires. Most wire is made black. Green is ground

I don't know how true, but for me, in the south, the sun cooks everything, I put caps on one end fill it with wet sand, and cap the other end store in a cool dry area

electrical tape colors- Brown, Orange, Yellow the three phases of 277/480V --- Black, Red, Blue the three phases of 120/208V-- Green is for ground and White or Gray for neutral. The tape is for marking the different wires as needed when pulling wire and marking circuits
