A tip that I find helpful is sewing a 1/4" stay stitching line on each fabric where the opening is before seaming the two layers together giving me a guide for pressing before closing with a top stitch. It helps my finished project to look better. I like the tip on securing the end of the elastic to the project with a second safety pin. The fabric you used is perfect. Great gift ideas , Marie. Thanks❣️
Cute project 😍 i was thinking that we can do it also with netting for fruit so the flies in the summer don't get to them, just an idea.😊 Have a great Sunday.
Perfect fabric for your bowl cover when you cover your rolls while you wait for it to rise & my 1st thought was a shower cap too Marie. At least we got a good chuckle 🤣🤣
Thank you! You too (even tho you wrote this last weekend, lol). I can’t remember if I showed it during the tutorial or not, but I made some small round covers. While I was doing dishes the other day, I was thinking that I needed to make some more of those little ones because I have more jars on my countertop that I used to have. These are very quick to make and they’re great to give as gifts, or with a gift. I recently gifted a set of stoneware bowls, and included some of these with it.
Thank you Marie! Just what I need for my kitchen aid mixing bowl. I went to use it today, and because it sits out on my counter on the mixer it's always dusty. So I will be making a cover soon. God bless. Happy Thanksgiving!
OMGosh!!! I need more chicken fabric!!! Look at that perfect circle, woodja! 😎 What an awesome idea, Marie!!! Which fabric marker do you prefer (nix to frixion, for me). Thanks for sharing! ❤
Do you really need more chicken fabric? Lol! Thank you so much for the wonderful box that I received in the mail yesterday! The name of the marker that I like and use eludes me at the moment. I'm downstairs and it is upstairs, so I'll have to get back to you about that. Sorry about that!
I'm thinking I would quilt this and give it to hubby, who is the cook/canner/baker in our family. He likes to cook, I like to eat - perfect match!!!
Sounds great! I bet he'll love it!!

I love the fabric book! I made one a very long time ago.
Great idea. I can use this for my pizza dough rise. I too just use a towel now.❤

Was just thinking about making these. Ever make them square or rectangle? Thinking same process except curve the corners ?❤❤
I was thinking the same 🥰
I made some years ago and love them 😊👍👍🪡🧵

Since it’s reversible, make it to use for 2 different holidays in one.
Exactly!
