Toured the factory in 2017. My mother worked for Gibson in the same building in Kalamazoo in the 1960s! My cover photo on Facebook is me playing with 3 other guys in the Heritage factory showroom. Great tour led by Pete Farmer!!!

On the bourbon burst, it sounded like a sound track from SHAFT! Fantastic!! Great review and vid. Well done fellas 🤓

I just bought the Cadilac Green! First time I've watched a guitar video and went “I have to have that guitar!”
As ever, great video from Chris and Cooper!

8:09 It’s arrived. Acclimated. Played for hours. I still don't sound like Cooper, but it is an amazing guitar. Sounds amazing. I love the neck shape, its sublime. Reminds me more of an acoustic neck over the super slim neck of my Gretsch G5220, not as wide as my Taylors.
You guys should have showed the Cadillac Green in its case. The green guitar in the green case lining is just the chefs kiss. The number of “ooohs” I get just opening the case makes this guitar worth it.
Now I need to stop watching your TH-cam videos and play more. I don't think I will ever sound as good as you guys, but I will keep trying!
Whatever you do don't do a video of the new Taylor 50th anniversary 12 string. My wallet can't take it!!!

@@AndyWinskillman I’m like border line on pulling the string on that Cadillac green, it looks beautiful and so classy with the natural finish on the back…….i have a heritage dirty lemon which I ❤ (H-150) and one Gibson slash November Burst (also love) and one Gibson Classic Smokehouse finish (I’m probably going to sell it)
Do you think I would absolutely love this Cadillac green color? 😮😅

I have 3 Les Paul Heritage

Thank you guys for another rad video! I’m with Cooper, Cadillac Green is my jam! I’m almost sorry I watched this because I was just about to pull the trigger on a Gretsch Players Edition Jet (thank you for that video) and now I have ANOTHER option to consider.

Have to say when comparing the regular ole Heritage H-150 compared to the Les Paul Standard (which I have both) the price is pretty much the same, however when looking at the specs and quality the Heritage is superior by far. One piece mahogany back and long neck tenon you get with the H-150, unless you go with Gibson Custom Shop you will not get either of those.
Would be great if you could do an in depth talk about the Heritage Custom Core Pickups. Read before the Custom Core became a reality they are made in the Kalamazoo factory using one of the old pickup winders (rebuilt) that was used to make the original PAF's during the 58-60 era pinnacle of Gibson Les era. They were voiced using a few original PAF's of the era and using the same (when available0 or similar (if not) parts and magnets. Will not be sold separately and only used on the Custom Core models. Would like to know if any or all of this did happen and that is what is used in these models for the pickups and what's your take on them. Never really heard much about the PUP's used in the CC since it's release other than saying they are voiced for the CC and built in house. Regards

In that video Joe was discussing the importance of guitar makers these days having the fret boards too high up on the body. Causing the bridge to be higher… he said a qtr inch is the sweet spot. And he was talking Paul (PRS) being the only one to address and fix that issue

Bought a tobacco burst CC H-150 after they first came out. Fantastic guitar, but I swapped the Parsons 225 pickups for a set of Jalen "Kingfish" pickups. Now it's my number 1 guitar!

I got interested about these pickups, where can I find these Jalen "Kingfish" pickups? I tried to search, but no results.

I watched a video on these Heritage LP’s ( Phil McKnight ) and he gave these guitars a solid thumbs up except for the frets. He was complaining about how low they were, personally I don’t mind frets which aren’t so high because when your sliding up and down the neck it doesn’t feel so much like little speed bumps 🤣.
Anyhows, my question is do they feel extremely low to you guys as well? This GC near me has an awful selection of higher end models and they didn’t have any H-150’s ( surprise, surprise lol ).
Thanks in advance if you find this message and reply 🤙

PS ~ Your sound demos most of us can’t go by either, simply because Cooper can make a broom stick with strings attached sound good so that’s that lol 😅
All joking aside, fantastic playing dude….as always.

I have one and my only complaint is the frets. It’s totally a preference thing and I prefer a taller fret. I love everything else about the guitar so I’m trying to get accustomed to the smaller frets. My other guitars have jumbos.
