Happy memories of hitting the foot of the Lickey flat out and passing the summit at less than 20mph with a Peak.

Oh yes , good old load 12 on the old Newquay -Newcastle for example !
118 went over the top at 25 mph . Not bad at all for about load 10 and a standing start

Sounds a treat doesn't it and so healthy. Only certain Peaks used to sound as good as that back in the day , with almost a straight through exhaust , a lack of baffles .
45102, 106, 108,110, 114, 126 sounded superb almost 40 years ago now !
