I always dreamed of an nfc north all time team. Name a Green Bay qb Calvin and moss as the wideout, Peterson, Payton and sanders as your rbs ditka at the tight end and carter running the slot and Hester/sayers as the return men. I don’t think anyone is beating that team

Back when ACL tears were career enders, Adrian set the bar. Now whenever a player gets an ACL injury yeah they’ll miss the season but the injury just 7 years ago was considered career ending especially for running backs. That just goes to show not only how far the treatment for the injury has come but how 1 guy with the drive to be the greatest running back of all time looked at that injury and said no you’re not slowing me down from greatness. AP is just the best I wish he was still on my Vikings

In my opinion after coming off that knee injury where he tore what every single Important ligament in his knee then having the season he had where he came up just a handful of yard short of the all-time rushing record I believe the knee injury more than makes up for those few yards and I consider this the greatest display of dedication hard work tenacity ferocity and shear determination and the single best rushing performance we have ever seen. AP was the perfectly built Rb a combination of size vision power speed acceleration elusiveness balance and heart..and one of the meanest stiff arms I have ever seen

5:56 that stat is utterly ridiculous... if he had gotten just 2 extra yards in each of those first 6 weeks he would have broken the record. Had he ran like he did in the remaining 10 games, the single season rushing record would have been absolutely obliterated. I mean, just SHATTERED. This dude was so much fun to watch. I remember the first time I seen him play at Oklahoma and he rushed for over 200 yards and the first thing I noticed besides his size and phenomenal speed was his ability to break tackles and that steel club like stiff arm. I knew he would do the same in the NFL and he did just that. I hated that they suspended him like they did and then that injury that ended his season. That’s a lot of games and a lot of yards that was left on the field. The coach must be a fan of Eric Dickerson because A.P. had that single season rushing record in his pocket.
