This man is 11th all time in receiving yards and catches and never had an elite qb. Holds multiple records too but will never get the respect he deserves
@@patrickbateman8117bro I’m from Houston and grew up going to watch Texans games with Andre and Matt Schaub and I can confirm Matt schaub was terrible. The only reason he looked decent was bc Andre would make amazing plays and catch terrible passes that people thought were instantly landing in the dirt somewhere 5 feet away from the receiver
@@999lajeepeta MAN OH MAN... AJ would have been lighting things up with CJ under center. Houstonian here, since the Oilers and Warren Moon with the run and shoot. lol
@@HookemFishingomg if I could’ve watched cj with Andre it would have been a beautiful thing. @@martinjacquez1015 DHop is probably the best underrated wr in the league right now but he doesn't have that tight end body like Andre did. DHop does have the toughness that Andre had despite being regular sized as a wr.
@@tavonthatruth640 underrated, no way hes been top 3 we for the last 3 seasons. It just we dont get alot of hype because we are the Texans unfortunately
Hes the best, most loved Texan of all time in my eyes. People real quick to forget about Andre since Watt came onto the field. Watt's just a show, he dont care about Houston like Andre did. AJ #1 Texan
I'll never forget the time the super bowl came to Houston in 04. My mom tooke and a friend to the GRB to the NFL experience, I forget the exact name. Well, David Carr was giving autographs and sitting behind him was a OG Oiler. I can't remember who exactly but in Carr's line was nothing but Women, 🤣🤣🤣, and the Oiler had all the Men in line. I liked Carr, I thought he had a hell of a strong arm and potential just needed an O-Line, but after seeing him in person with all the women, I knew he was just going to be a pretty boy QB..
This would have sounded crazy before this year but he reminds me of Cooper Kupp the way he catches the ball with his hands and instantly turns upfield with power. Both hall of famers in my book. Also funny how they keep praising Matt Shaub like Jared Goff
Man don’t get me wrong you got a few dudes today but no receivers play like this anymore. Todays more about less contact and break away speed which is cool but dudes like Dre and Calvin Johnson wanted all the hits back then. They really don’t make em like that anymore a rip to one of the best eras
AJ80 was the total package. No receiver, and i repeat NO RECEIVER in NFL history was closer to the total package than Andre Johnson. Bigger and stronger than Rice, better hands than T.O, ran every route like a man unlike Moss, more reliable and better route runner than Megatron, faster than Fitzgerald...etc.
This man is 11th all time in receiving yards and catches and never had an elite qb. Holds multiple records too but will never get the respect he deserves
Chet Collins Matt shcaub was kinda good but everyone else is just horrible
I’m a 49ers fan and I respect the hell outta him.

Andre was a beast. He was the humble version of dk Metcalf lol

No one forgot. Stop being stupid and saying people forgot.
His ball control during and after a catch was top notch
Dude was a beast could do everything.

In Madden if you had the Texans you force fed Johnson regardless if he was open or not.
Troy28 Facts.
Yeah but sometimes Kevin Water came in clutch lmao

Straight facts
lol!!! He was Randy moss after Randy to me! If someone had the lions with Calvin Johnson I’m taking Texans with this dude, he ain’t ever failed me!
This dude didn’t even make Top 10 WR of 2000s on NFL network, disrespect
That’s insane.
A class act on and off the field
Court land Sutton would say otherwise lol

It would of been a thing of beauty
He would be top 3 all time
Imagin him with cj stroud 🤯

was super productive with bad Qbs for a very long time, good vid bro!
TheCrunchySopa deandre before 2017
Shaub was great for a while, everyone forgets thats
Terrible QB's.
The guy was the best in the history of the NFL. He was phenomenal. Now, this is what you called, a phenomenal WR.
Thats a grown man right there and a monster player!
Man, the classic music and commentators. The early 2000's was the last breath of real football.
Hall of Famer Andre Johnson
YESSIR!!!
Andre Johnson & Calvin Johnson. QB & teams were
there only problems. HOF PLAYERS 4RREAL.
Thank you so much for posting this bruh. Finally get to see some early career Dre beastin'.
Andre Johnson was that dude!!!
My top 5 all time Wr.
Andre Johnson was a tight end wide receiver, a complete powerhouse.

Andre Johnson was a beast NFL put this man in the Hall of Fame
He Is now
GOAT
always thought him and Joe were related, both very good, very underated in their sports and seems like they had similar demeanors
@durk io Joe Johnson, he use to play in the NBA
The even slightly look alike lol

Damn I lowkey miss that Chris bermann analysis with the old football music
When the first reel started I thought the exact same thing. The music, the commentary. Truly a classic era.

Facts. Hopkins is cool but Andre was a beast. The total package for a receiver
I mean shit the man snatched the ball straight out of the defenders hands
Deserved a super bowl
Imagine Hopkins and Andre Johnson playing together
With Deshaun watson throwing!!
They did play together, I think 1 year
Damn imagine if he had deshaun 😭
He'd be top 5 all-time in career stats amongst WR easily. He's top 15 even with who he's had so damn...if only bro
U gotta make a part 2
And not an elite quarterback in sight........... Unless for the other team. LOL

Tee Higgins is a throwback to this era.
Had to take a moment to appreciate how awesome Schaub's play flakes where.
He was a waste of a great WR in Houston. Never got the props he deserved.
That Matt Schaub, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson trio couldve been special with a few more pieces.

If you had to pick, Andre Johnson or Julio Jones?

ARIAN FOSTER next pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee
