How to Spool a Fishing Reel

In this video, we will demonstrate how to put new line on your fishing reel. First make sure you have the correct pound test line on your reel. There should be a diagram that displays what line is recommended for your real. Start by opening your bail and then proceeded to do two overhand knots onto the reel. Once your line is tied to the reel, close your bail and pull the line up next to the rod. Now simply begin reeling in your line. Make sure to keep tension on the line when spooling. Once your reel has been spooled, cut the line and your are ready to fish.
