I have a F-350 pickup truck and plan on placing the air compressor outside under the truck along the frame rail. Would it be ideal if I run a hose for the filter into the cab to keep clean and dry, also if there is a big temp difference like cold outside and warm inside would this option create moisture in the head of the compressor? Remoting the filter will be ideal when installing the compressor under the truck due to dirt and water. Regarding the moisture, it will build up regardless of the temperature. The higher the temperature (like inside of a box), the more moisture the compressor will build. The good thing about running the compressor outside is it helps with the duty cycle of the compressor.
You'll additionally need pressure regulator(like Viair 90150) to reduce pressure and replacement solenoid(like ARB 180103) to enable/disable lock.. and probably more fittings and lines.
I installed my air compressor in my 2009 Jeep JK engine bay, tank in the rear. All the wiring according to specs except the on/off connected to my rocker switch and the pressure switch connected to a viair block manifold. My air compressor runs but it comes on then off then on again. Any reason why?

For Jeep owners that like to use their cargo area, do you offer a tank mounting solution on the outside or underside of the Jeep?
I have seen people mount the tank under the jeep, but Im not sure if their tank was this big.
You mentioned mounting the air chuck on the bumper. What hardware is needed to mount the chuck through a piece of steel like a bumper?

Yes, unless it has the red stuff. They erred in the video on the quick connect to the tank. Also use lock washers on any bolts.
