I still have a question about the distance between the brooder house and the layer house. My thought is that they are too close and may lead to easy transfer of diseases from the older birds (layers).
*Biosecurity issues are quiet until they surface*

You are on point. The ventilation would also be a challenge. Air coming into the pens would be deflected by the closeness of those structures. I've been so concerned about the structures since the beginning of the works. I wish them success in it. It's a great and huge investment

Thanks for the suggestion. We are careful not to allow such circumstances to occur. With regards to the closeness for ventilation, is not an issue. The spacing is fine, we have done this with several farms. But we appreciate the suggestion and will act accordingly with future projects. Thanks
