And what I love about this clumsy idiotic Yosuke, is that he is just a friend from start to the unforeseeable, unending end. He just can't help but care for ya, and that made him a special character.
Clumsy? Sure. Idiotic? i don´t think so. I mean, don´t get me wrong, he is no Naoto, but he is not stupid either. He is just a regular guy i would say, he thinks about girls and makes silly jokes.

I loved Yosuke's story in this game, and these moments of him trying to play the straight man under these delusions of his friends never fail to make me laugh. Everybody's making Nanako jokes, and I'm just sitting here wondering why all the historic people in the portraits and photos on the wall have apparently ascended into god-mode. I can practically hear the voice of Kenshiro coming from that photo of Karl Marx saying, "OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU."
In Tanabata days, Nanako wished for world peace (just like how Nunnaly wanted the world to be peaceful) and you can wish for world domination (which is Lelouch's way to make her wish to be true).
my favorite thing about this game is that in the manga yosuke is the protagonist, therefore yosuke's route is very likely meant to be the "true" one or the "canon" one. i havent played any games that came after ultimax though so i'm unsure if it still applies but it's at least how it feels like. i like yosuke having his own story.
Yu and Labrys vie for the protagonist position in Ultimax, though I think the manga adaptation follows Yu as the protagonist. Dancing All Night has Yu and Rise (and Kanami, sort of) as the protagonists, so no, I don't think Yosuke ever gets the spotlight again.
He frequently plays the "only sane man" role, but this particular clip is from his story route. Everyone seems sane compared to everyone else in their own story routes in this game...
