Yes, the XKGlow kit is the way to go for sure! I usually run in all white when riding, strictly a safety thing for me...well, OK, it looks cool as hell hahaha
The no go on the red / blue is so that it doesn’t look like an emergency vehicle such as fire or police. A lot of states allow for lights but they can’t flash while the vehicle is being operated or they can’t have those certain colors on while the vehicle is being operated. At a car show or parking lot have at it the state code / statute will advise under the traffic section. Another great video guys.
I wasnt to sure about the lights, but seeing the finished product, it just makes a beautiful bike that bit more desirable, keep well guys, see you in the next one.
I guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
Nice vid. Good to see the tank off and there is a path for extra wires under the tank! Looks like there might be some room up under that seat for a small fuse block. I'll have to order one and see what I can do. I had some Ditrio Direct LEDs on my Honda. It lit up pretty good at night. So I would usually ride with them on at night. I am now on a mission to find Indian projector lights, like BMW has on their vehicles. Haven't even looked yet, but I hope I can find some to project on the ground under the bags and up front somewhere. That plan looks really good on paper!
The colors look REALLY good with the white bike, now that is something I would definitely add, phone capability is really awesome. Believe the reason for red and blue is due to those being colors for emergency vehicles, had on my car and suspect its the same for you as well.
It looks great, but not sure of a lot of things in it. But glad you were able to do it. If I did mine, I think I'd have it done. Seems like it could be very frustrating. Plus I would have liked to see how you take the tank off. Then I see where someone mentioned the bags coming off, I would think having to replace the tape each time after you said earlier that once it's on its on. So is it really on? Good to hear Ms B ;-)
@@TwoIndians I'm sure it is. Things that I have never done is always scary to me but once I just breath and take my time it's not too bad. I struggle with doing it wrong, yes perfectionist mind set, not a good thing.
I have a 22 Springfield (chrome) and I recently installed Eagle brand LED headlamp and driving lights. So far I haven't found the exact video on your site but apologies if I've missed it. How do you point your driving lights (not the ones on the highway bars)--the ones right next to the headlamp. Do you aim them to be equal to the low beam? Or go lower? Thank you.
@@TwoIndians Thanks for the response. Sorry for a lame question as a newbie, but by "wider" you mean left/right coverage? Last night I went out and adjusted mine to be a little higher than they were to now be about equal to the low beam. With the arm set-up, not sure if I could point more left or right. I'd love to see ditch to ditch like I do when the Indian brand driving lights on the Super Chief. These seem to point more forward for now. Thanks for your site and videos.
As usual very informative video.. outcome is awesome. But yes a but.. when you stuck the 3m sticker part to the side bag , I'm stuck as what you do if and when they have to come off at some stage? Tyre change, maintenance etc.. as its stuck.. unless there is a clip off part i missed?
We just carry spare 3m in the bag and replace the sticker. Honestly hasn’t been a problem. I just tell the service writer/manager when I drop the bike off.
Not at all. I’ve installed three light kits on three different Indians and have never had a problem. Had a kit on my Springy for almost three years now.
Since you used the sticky tape and mounted the lights directly to the saddlebags, what happens when you need to completely remove the bags? I’m thinking Velcro might be a better idea in that area. Awesome video. Thanks for the help.
Nice work, looks good too, BUT completly illegal in germany. The police will pull you over and remove the tags from your license plate. You will need a tow to get your bike back home or the police will confiscate the whole bike and bring it to the TÜV (german kind of DOT) and after inspection, you will receive a really nice ticket/fine for that. So, as a summary, another reason for me, why I love florida. See you guys next March !
You guys are Awesome and both of you are so funny your videos are so Helpful
Thank you so much! That means so much to me. 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome video, and I like that you can change the look with your phone. So cool.

Man awesome job! I’d never be able to do that on my own. I’d have to pay someone to do it. Her bike looks awesome.
Thank you my man!

Hahaha, yeah it all sounds good when you say it fast right? Good luck, let me know how it goes!
Great video!
Thanks Mark!

Correct. Yeah it looks so good! CHeck out the photos of my bike on the Community page here on this channel!
Although I'm not a fan of the look of underglow, I'd think it would make the bike much more visible at night greatly enhancing safety.
I run with the lights at night for safety. All white, bright as can be.

It’s a piece of cake. One of the easiest things you can do.

Great video guys. I want to fit a set of these to my loadmaster.
Great way to keep your hubby busy Mrs. Barb 😜👍
And I get the bonus of lights :)

I think it’s all personal preference but personally I aimed mine a little wider than the headlamp at low beam reach

@@TwoIndians Gotcha .. yer thought it would be a simple sort. Also noticed you blanked out shit you not for a more lighter version .. pmsl..
Oh so sweet
Did your rectifier/regulator have any issues after the install? My wife’s 2015 Vintage states do not attach anything to the directly battery.
Not at all. I’ve installed three light kits on three different Indians and have never had a problem. Had a kit on my Springy for almost three years now.

I guess this kit will work on any make or model of bike? I'm looking for something to put on my Goldwing.
Yeah absolutely. The GWs are hard to do because of all the body panels but doing it right can look amazing.
@@TwoIndians Thanks, bruhl Imma get those!
Dose the heat from the rear cylinder have any effect on the on/off switch?
None what-so-ever. Had one in the same position for over a year and a half on my bike.
Does this light set add to the trade-in value for her Challenger?
Nothing, nothing, NOTHING adds value to a motorcycle LOL
LOL!
As always... great video... Just can't find the Buffalo brand Horn info. Stay safe.
Do have a video taking the tank off? That seems trickier than I would like to try.
Which bike do you have? Cheiftain or Springfield?
You make it look so easy😏

We only remove the saddle bags a couple times a year and just replace the sticky material. You get plenty with the kit.
Since she has a spider. When does she get the Spiderman Helmet?
Very nice, ride safe
