No this is the second time. The first time a confetti drop took place like that was actually in the game show marathon in 2006 we’re family few was actually the last game in the marathon and the winner would get $100,000 for their charity

Man, I've never seen confetti on Family Feud before. I've only seen it on Bert's $100,000 Family Feud on TH-cam. I've only seen balloons on the American version.

That Family Feud theme song is heard once only when a sound effect is heard and the confetti dropping and is very hard to win Fast Money. That $50,000 winning amount is also used on the Al Roker NBC version of Celebrity Family Feud. Also Steve Harvey and his wife would go on to be on a 2017 episode of Celebrity Family Feud.

That ending looks like The Sheedy Family winning $50,000 instead of winning $100,000 on Bert's Family Feud and also that looks like an $80,000 Fast Money win for the Family Feud Tournament Of Champions Finale, And then I liked it. Also the confetti cannons jammed and they release the Family Feud set when the family won $50,000 a few years ago. Former host Richard Dawson did the 1000th episode that year.
The Big Money Tournament has the Sudden Death round which was shown instead of the Fast Money bonus round which was shown during the show's debut and was shown three times in 2005, 2006, and 2007. That $50,000 win with confetti in it looks like a Tournament of Champions Fast Money win which was only shown from the John O'Hurley era in 2007.
