@@laptex1377 i have checked all the edp signals. They all give 0v. And they are link to the cpu. Does it mean that the laptop cannot use lvds screen anymore?

Same problem happened with me...diagnoses today in my asus rog strix g17 gaming laptop...repair guy said it happened because of earthing issues

sir please what if lcdvdd en does not come out and mostly it comes out of pch or gpu
Then need to check the PCH or GPU requirements...or else PCH is faulty.

It depends on the architecture and logic used...if it is active high then it should be high or if the logic is active low then it should be low.

I NEED ADVICE SIR, I HAVE A DELL 17 3721...THE BACK LIGHT COMES ON BUT NO DATA THE SCREEN STAYS BLACK WITH BACKLIGHT ON.. THE LVD HAS 19V , LCDVDD AND 3VS.. WHAT ELSE CAN I TRY TO CHECK ?????...BECAUSE THE EXTERNAL; DISPLAY WORKS PERFECTLY
