One thing u should keep in mind before investing into ipad 9th gen, that it have non laminated display, that is there's gap between pencil and pixel!!!
So if you want to use procreate app for long term, i will suggest u to get pro model!
Yes it is. Laminated screens are for sure nice to haves, but it's not such a big deal. Specially at this price point.

No
You can charge the 1st gen pencil on the charging port area of the ipad unlike the 2nd gen that you'll just stick it (cause it has magnet) and it automatically charge.
Will the sounds annoy you or lead to any inconvenience when you draw?
I used by friends ipad 9th gen for drawing last night, yes the sound of plastic was super annoying to me. I really like sound of pencil against paper, that's why I was feeling kinda weird working with plastic

@@cifer8070Buy a paperlike screen protector or something similar it makes writing and drawing a bit better and you get closer to the feeling of writing on paper. Surely it still is a bit plasticy, but you have more control over your lines 👍🏻
I heard that this ipad can’t handle too much layers on procreate because of the small RAM. Is it true?
Hello!!! I have this model and if you do a 4000x4000px with 300 DPI canvas, you get 9/10 layers aprox. I might say that if you try to not use a lot of layers, it's a really good option!

I heard the paper texture layer makes the Apple Pencil wear out more faster, did you noticed anything on that regard ?
I think it might... Maybe in 6 month or something (if u use this as a main device to draw on) ... I don't use it regularly, I prefer pen display!!

Eu uso ipad Diariamente, e sim! com a pelicula paper like, ele desgasta mais a ponta da pen, porem é só trocar :) a minha ja esta com 1 ano usando diariamente , mas logo farei a troca.

Its unlimited actually
depends on the Canvas size , DPI and the model you are using , In ipad 9th - approx. 19 layers ; ipad air 5th - approx. 39 layers ; m1 ipad Pro - 51 layers. all for 300 dpi of A4 size canvas

actually not really. If you are going to use tablet for professional purposes then go for some graphic tablets with screen.
