Thank you for uploading this man. I was going for ending #1 and must have wiped over 20 times in the final battle vs. Proteus. My patience finally ran out and I rage-uninstalled. Your video gave me the needed closure :)
If you want some tips here's what I personally did. 1: Have two characters (preferably the shortest range characters) dedicated to activating the cryo-tubes at the first/second round. When they're done, have them dedicated to protecting the console and slowly wither down but not destroy the top left cryo-tube. When they're down you'll want them to periodically but cautiously help the other four when they get to the left side. 2: Have the other 4 characters go from "top-right -> bottom right -> bottom left -> top left" or clockwise direction. 3: Make sure you have a character leveled in mechanics so they can have deploy turrets/decoys/etc at cryotube spots that haven't been blown up. Also try to have as many animal/random companions you can if possible. 4: Absolutely make sure you don't blow up the cryotubes before the Proteus is in range. At best, you take a 2-3 rounds of a hard beating. At worst, the Proteus will go ahead of your characters and might cause a wipe.
The DLC also has extra companion endings if you sacrifice them to mutation at the end. For example, Scotchmo creates a special wine that works on mutants :D
I did option 2 to shut down the Holy Detonation and Elijah Ward says he is sending payment to my base but when I get back to HQ there isn't a delivery for me when I talk to Greatski. Is there something special you have to do to collect the $4500?
I do have one question though: have you tested if rerouting power to Colorado influences the November Reigns route? As in, can you ignore the gipper's oil and still get Reyes approval for getting the "fuel" for Colorado Springs?
Fuck. This. Boss. I didn't lose but holy fuck was it cluuuuutch. If I didn't had some animal friends, party pal, Pustule, night terror and that russian robot I would've said fuck this DLC when I was defending the console.

I think there is a glitch because I didn’t even start the DLC and Ward came over the radio and sent me 4500 dollars and I was thankful but I had to reload and lost it
Nah, it's not a glitch, he didn't actually send the 4500. He promises you 4500 in that option, that's all. When you see a message like "[REWARD:4500] Rangers, please slap my wife!" that's just letting you know what you'd get if you complete that quest. I was confused at first by that!
Judging from the comments, I was either over leveled or my 4 companions really helped. I mean the did pretty much hold down one side of the room, but I only needed 2 rangers to defend the console with one of them hitting the coolant buttons. The rest led the Proteus around. The song was really stupid. “Make all our dreams come true” oh my god. So out of place. I thought it was kinda funny thinking about how the “dream” that the 3 factions (Rangers, Primes, Nucleists) are fighting over is a exploding nuke…. But it was a really stupid song and I was very disappointed. They over did the “enemies crawl out of vents” thing.
Bruh, I love how they broke the 4th wall in song format for the third ending. Whoever wrote that is goated

I did Fish-Lips cuz he’s a cannibal, he just goes feral and gets put down 😂😂😂
