This was an awesome video man, bets I've watch yet on this topic. I think cold sms is amazing, but, have to do it respectfully & correctly, thanks bro!... new sub
GHL requires specific keywords, not OUT: > The initial message that you send to an individual needs to include one of the following standard opt-out keywords: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.
Yes you are right. When you type the message to have to word stop but tell people to reply OUT it still complies and you can catch it first before the carriers do. For instance..."Sorry if I'm bothering you, if you want me to stop please just say OUT and I'll take you off our list." So you can see I have the word stop so the carriers see that and it still makes the message compliant. When the reply back OUT it adds them to my internal DND list but the carries are not notified so it doesn't hurt me. When people actually reply back STOP it hurts your numbers reputation.
Gabe - at 7:20 in your video, you show your pre-qualification workflow trigger filter as "customer replied > contains > 'out' or 'OUT'". Did you ever notice that out/OUT is to generic of a phrase and ends up accidentally including positive replies by mistake as unsubscribes? -> ie. customer replied "No worries, thanks! I'll check it out. I'm free tomorrow to jump on a call." Do you think the phrase 'Exit' would trigger flagging? If there's any resource on this would greatly appreciate it! Cheers, great vid.
Yes you are correct. That is why if you look at my if/else filter is says it has to be exact match of only that word. That is also why I add various forms of it and I thought I described that in the video. When you use if/else to say exact match that means there cannot be other words in the message. It can ONLY contain that word and the various forms. Hope that makes sense!
Hey Gabe, doesn't GHL automatically add the STOP message on it's own? If so, how can I take that out? Plus, if I already have a lot of workflows with sms, is there a way to add in bulk to all sms's going out, your ."Sorry if I'm bothering you, if you want me to stop please just say OUT and I'll take you off our list."

The stop message from GHL is in the settings and this is where customize my message. You will want to leave that on but just edit it.
@@NerdTechAi Thanks!!
Where'd you get the 5% and 3% error rates information?
When you hit those error rates GHL sends you an email letting you know.
*done* In internal notification the box "From Name" I don't have the option to choose a business email. So I choose from email.
