Great post, we had a reactivation campaign for an insurance agent recently (love seeing AI book people XD) and in hindsight this would have been great to minimise the 'stops'. We will definitely consider this for next reactivation campaign. Thanks Dan, Jamie!

When I try to disable OPT Out language, I get this error: Cannot disable opt out message while location is under ramp. Any suggestions?

You can ask support ot up your limit to 5k. This will get rid of. Otherwise check out this video - th-cam.com/video/ndVK0RmXgag/w-d-xo.html

Given High Level's LC - Phone Messaging Policy stating SMS should only be sent to the opted-in contacts, would this not be considered filtering evasion? "This includes intentionally misspelled words or non-standard opt-out phrases which have been specifically created with the intent to evade these mechanisms" Sending out SMS to thousands or millions IS spam, though, right? Or am I missing something?

Yes so they have to be opted in contacts. This is an umbrella term for many different types of leads that also incorporates implied consent opt ins etc. For the ones who have speficially opted in to recieve texts you do not need the opt out messaging. For the implied consents you do. Using Delete is a grey area, but as long as you are DND'ing then and adhering to the leads wishes it shouldn't be an issue. Many A2P providers use delete as a standard opt out, Twilio however do not, which is why when delete is texted back it doesnt count toward your opt out rate. Its a grey area though.

Doesn’t GHL require opt-out keywords like, stop & end? Meaning you can’t avoid it cause they basically force it

Nope they don’t require it. If you have direct consent to sms the lead you don’t need the opt out. If it’s implied consent then you need an opt out, but you can use the word delete and create an automation to DND them if the send the word delete.

@@Flexxable What would implied consent look like?

@@Flexxable Hey, so in my GHL profile settings, I've tried to uncheck the box that is checked for sending companyID and opt out language but nothing happens when I do, it just doesn't let me. Is there any way around this? And by implied consent, I have leads fill out an opt in form and check a box consenting to receive sms, does that count?
