Without being too nosey, what neighborhoods and rents should a fresh undergrad in finance be looking for in nyc

Murray Hill, Kips Bay, LES, East Village are all popular spots for recent grads that are generally more affordable. Murray Hill is the classic due to its close proximity to Midtown where most financial firms are now

In terms of rent, I’d say you should expect to pay up to $2200 for a decent place.. More than $1600

@@Galbra1th thanks, I live in Florida so if I’m gonna give up in state tuition it has to be worth it because I would only give that up for target and Ivy but if it’s better that the best state university in Florida might as well

Oh so if you’re in Florida I would suggest UF. You can’t beat Bright Futures / in-state. UF also is a much more fun and traditional college experience than Baruch
