HEY GUYS! Welcome back to my channel and welcome back to the Edgar-O World, welcome back to the house of nightmares. So in today's video we are going to put the trick or treat studios seed of chucky doll side by side with the good guy doll. This is to help some of you decide which one you should get. I been asked my opinion on which one I would recommend getting. So, if you don't have either one and you are planning to get one, here is my little 2 cents. When you first brought out both dolls, facing each other, the first thing I immediately thought of was "Hi! My name is Tommy!" ... "Hi! My name is Larry!" ... "Hey! Wannnna play?" ... "Hey! Wannnna play?" ... lol

I have the good guy myself and I personally like the good guy better. Because its the original chucky from the first movie, and it has that sweet face that makes him more creepy 😳 at the end in my personal opinion.

@@Babigh0ulll nah. Idk if you own em. But i own both and theres a noticeable difference in the skin color. But thats honestly a minor gripe i have about it. Overall its an amazing replica.

The reason the Seed of Chuckys mouth is in that shape is because the heads are based off a actual mold from the screen used one. But yes either way they could have done a better paint job. And I kinda wish they made the hair more accurate

I agree. The Seed Of Chucky doll has a very popular look and he’s so creepy and perfect for Halloween. Good Guys doll is cute and fun to have, but also fun for Halloween. It’s going to boil down to personal preference and finances for each person. As some others have mentioned- custom made dolls are a bit better, but also more expensive.
Did you see the guy on IG that added real stitches and put porcelain teeth on the seed of chucky head? It looks insane!

I prefer Chucky's non sliced up and stitched look. It made sense for Bride of Chucky but I think they should've changed the look after that.

my doll tore in several parts of the joints, I ended up using expansive foam to fix it. It was a great job.I had to do something. This doll in my country, costs R $ 4000, 8x more than $ 500. Im from brazil

I got my kickstarter seed of Chucky doll, and to make the eyes look a little more glass like I added a few layers of clear coat on them which made them a little more glossy. Also ima add a little more red and black paint to the scars to give them depth.

Awesome video man, do you know if there's any physical difference between the normal seed doll and the kickstarter version?
My good guy doll was the second batch and the hair on mine does reach the elbows to the tip and tapers down a little in center point rather than a straight cut.
I would just like to point out with the whole staples on the face thing because it’s a seed of Chucky doll not a bride of Chucky doll for it to be “screen accurate” he would in fact not have staples on his face because it’s actually a movie prop instead of the doll that Tiffany put back together
Chucky looked handsome during that Santa Claus scene in Seed of Chucky. They could’ve just done that to avoid the teeth problem
I’m sad I’m still waiting for my doll and I don’t know how long it’s going to be before it get here before I move in a week.... anyway I wanted to get both but not so sure anymore given how things are going with them now.
They take forever it was almost 4 or 5 months before I got my good guy and I hope when you move you still get him.

You can buy appoxy gel from home Depot and paint it on the eyes for the glass look and will stay permanent and clear
I picked the good guy doll because the seed seems like it will be in stock for a long time. The good guys keep going on backorder so.

I would get the Seed of Chucky Chucky doll
So...I have to be really honest here, initially I was not at all a fan of the 'Seed of Chucky' doll, and my only target was the 'Good Guy' Tommy. I purchased a brand new Good Guy (unopened, it arrived in its own shipping box) doll, then after purchasing a second Good Guy doll (this one 'open-box) I decided to take another look at the 'Seed of Chucky' doll and I agree with you, the photos do not do it justice at all! I, however, happened to bump into a really good deal on one (open box) with 'real-time' photos that made him look incredible. Therefore I decided to take the leap and purchase the 'Seed of Chucky' doll. Fast-forward to now and I have to tell you that I have no 'favorites', as I would still just go 'broke' and try to get both at the same time all over again. Both the 'Good Guy' Tommy and Chucky from 'Seed of Chucky' are just beautiful! I know this will sound VERY weird but I kind-of find Chucky from 'Seed of Chucky' SUPER hot...he looks incredibly sexy, and at the same time I'm very scared of him, specially at night (he is at the other end of my room-across from the others), it almost feels like he's just there pretending to be a lifeless doll during the day only to tear his way out of the box during the night so he can take me out while I'm asleep 😱! 🥰😍😘

Where's Chucky's baby pin?
Almost all official Chucky dolls I've seen don't have the baby pin on the overalls. Am I just imagining him having a baby pin, or did he actually have one? (I think he had it in bride and seed)

I am sad my good guy has been sitting since I got him but now his foam in his legs are ruined when I try and stand him he just bends over 😞 should of kept him in the box but still love him so much. I love 1-3 so I love the original doll I also want one with the evil face my daughter is in love with the staple look. He looks great but I honestly didn’t care to much for the rest of the movies besides the original
So did his legs like break or just kinda get stuck? Did the wires inside if him snap or something?? I found it difficult to make mine "sit" so I didn't really force it much. I have him standing and leaning against a wall.
workdiggitz no well when I pulled him out I propped him above my bed and put him in the sitting position but I think I kept him like that to long because I went to stand him the other day and the foam is split all the way through his legs and for some reason under his armpit area as well. I don’t think the wire broke. I can still stand him if he is up against something but if I just try to stand him his whole top half just falls forward. I put him in the sitting position but I don’t think I was being to rough but I must have been

Um you know this is a mass produced item wich means they will not glue the wig on right wich is an easy fix just re glue the wig in the accurate position.

Are the fingers posable on the seed of chucky? And do his overalls look darker and his skin tone seem much lighter?
workdiggitz the fingers are not posable at all. The overalls are darker than the good guy overalls and his skin tone is a lot more brighter. The good guy doll skin tone is on the brown side. The seed doll is very light and on the pink red tone

I’m not going to lie, chucky was my favorite horror movie slasher as a kid & my grandma bought me one from Spencer’s when I was 14 & I was beyond happy, but I always wanted one of these replica ones as kid, especially the seed of chucky one but I didn’t have the money to go & spend $1000 dollars on one, and now I have a real job & can spend $650 on one,buuuuut I really don’t want to spend $650 on one & highkey don’t know what to do, I don’t want to wait & trick or treat studios discontinue it & it becomes $1,000+, but I don’t want to pay $650 for one either
