the rapper doesn't even need to sing, its basically just talking fast, still hard but nowhere near as hard as singing properly
the other dude just screams twice every 30 seconds and I'm 90% sure the big scream (the 3rd scream) isn't him actually singing, what you're hearing is mostly the pre-recorded sound
The 3 of them are very skilled but mako had the biggest and hardest challenge, in terms of skill you can't use this performance to compare them.
Edit: I saw somewhere in the comments that mako had some operation done 2 days before the live show and had a fever during the show.

The guy that does the screaming parts actually nailed it, even in the last parts. I was specting so much worse, but it was really good.
I think his name is Telle (the guy that does the screaming parts), Mako is the lead singer and Bobby is the rapper. I also think that Telle & Bobby saved this performance lol. The beginning with Mako was a mess, Telle & Bobby picked it up in the end. This is just my opinion though 😅

I came back to this performance of the song after seeing this years (2023) opening ceremony, to check out the differences in your (vocal) performance and stage presence.
I can imagine that, after all the backlash on the 2018 version, this song has left you with a bunch of mixed-feelings. Maybe a touch of an imposter'esque syndrome even.
Without commenting or judging on the 2018 version (especially since, regardless of the performance on the day, everyone should understand that about 1000 things can influence and impact the performance on a given day), I wanted to let you know that, if you still have any combination of mixed-feelings, resentment, or feelings of not belonging as a result of your 2018 performance, it's time to drop that.
This song speaks about a journey, and thus its essence cannot be captured in a singular performance. You proved that this year, after coming full circle with your 2023 performance, which was an absolute banger. Regardless of what held you back in 2018, every aspect of your performance this year was an improvement. But still, that could not have been so, if 2018 never would've happened.
In my opinion, you've proved yourself sir, you have aRISEn!
