Easiest way, I think, is to unload the gun, engage the cross bolt safety, look at the port/left (barrel release) side of the gun, cock the gun, and look at the port-side of the hammer. If the transfer bar spring is compressed (you can only see 2 loops of spring wire behind the transfer bar) , the hammer is set to drop on the TOP barrel on the hammer fall. If it's extended (you can see 4 loops of spring wire) it is set to drop on the BOTTOM barrel on the hammer fall. So, if you want it to fire the BOTTOM barrel first: unload the gun, engage the cross bolt safety, look at the port/left (barrel release) side of the gun, cock the gun, and look at the port-side of the hammer. Work the hammer until you see the transfer bar spring is compressed (you can only see 2 loops of spring wire), lower the hammer to half cock, and load the gun. Next time you cock the gun, push the cross-bolt safety to the right, and pull the trigger, the bottom barrel will fire. Reverse the process for the top barrel. Thank you so much! I am new to bond arms. This is information, I needed to know. And now, thanks to you, I do!
Excellent video. Really clarifies how easy it is to determine which chamber is firing next. I have two of these just for fun and want more.
This will be my first handgun and that was my main concern was how accurate I could be with it. Knowing which chamber is firing makes it a lot easier.
Great info. I didn’t know this. Thanks for this.
Excellent explanation of the bond derringer..👍now I feel way more confident in handling this little hand cannon..
Thank you for clearing that up. Much appreciated.
Awesome! Thanks for this!
There’s an easier way to do it by checking the gap in the hammer to frame. Further gap = bottom barrel
Thanks just picked one up today because I always thought these were cool little guns.
Excellent and practical technique. Thanks!
Niceun!

Brilliant 🎉
Odd trigger Pull, short grip. These are complaints i've heard. Possible hammer pinch
Thanks.
