Stunning scenery. One day I hope to visit France. Will you show us what you purchased? I would be shopping at Emaus every chance I got if I lived there. Amazing pieces for amazing prices compared to thrift stores in the US whose prices have gone crazy high over the years.
I will be in France next month. This trip my time will be spent on Paris. How I wish I had time to visit your region. It's so beautiful!

Lieve Marloes, het is nu 28 oktober 2023 en heb eigenlijk sinds kort jouw kanaal ontdekt en had je al een keer eerder laten weten hoe blij ik met deze ontdekking ben. Olav volgde ik al langer met veel plezier, zijn positiviteit, nuchterheid, humor en doorzettingsvermogen. Maar jij gaat dieper, althans daar laat je meer van zien, je gedachten, gevoelens, overwegingen, twijfels en verder je verwondering en schoonheid van de natuur, de cultuur en de mensen. Het plezier in juist de kleine dingen. Juist in deze vreselijk moeilijke tijd met zoveel wereldwijde narigheid, angst, verdriet en spanningen, doet het mij in ieder geval zo goed om naar jouw 'dagboeken' te kijken, mee te genieten, helpt het om niet de moed te verliezen. Of je nou een recept uit probeert, op 'jacht' naar een mooi aardewerk of de koeien tijdens een wandeling gedag zegt, met Olav samen aan het verbouwen bent, zo dankbaar hiervoor, ga alsjeblieft door (ik ben vast niet de enige waar dit voor geldt)! 🙏❤
Dank je wel voor dit ontzettend lieve bericht. Het doet me goed om te horen dat onze video’s je dit mogen brengen. Eerlijk gezegd stel ik me wel eens de vraag of het juist voelt om in video’s “net te doen alsof er niets aan de hand is” terwijl de wereld in brand staat. Mag ik vreugde en rust delen als zoveel medemensen dat nu onmogelijk kunnen ervaren door omstandigheden buiten henzelf? Lijkt het nu niet alsof ik doe alsof mijn neus bloedt? Ben ik niet de enorm “privileged TH-camr” uit aan het hangen? Een poppetje zonder diepgang?
Dat soort afwegingen… Totdat ik me mijn taak in het leven op dit moment herinner: liefde en lichtheid verspreiden en delen, want het is nodig.
Dank je wel dus voor de aanmoediging die je me geeft om zo door te gaan. Dat is welkom! Warme groet ❤️

I do occasionally ship items. My focus is on other projects though. Book is almost finished! Need to wait for some photos to be finished!

What type of machine do you use to make those beautiful coffee drinks in glasses?
Just a traditional espresso machine! I pour the coffee in a tall glass and make the hot milk and foam in an electric milk frother and pour that over the coffee. It’s really simple!
vous n'êtes pas un peu française ???LOL....combien de mains se sont activées pour façonner ces pots , ces cruches , ces vases et ces meubles et ça me fait toujours quelque chose de visiter des brocantes espérant une deuxième vie à tous ces objets plutôt que l'oubli ...merci encore pour vos voyages
