Hi, it wouldn't because the email alias would be linked to the mailbox of your primary business email, so if the reputation of the alias is hurt (due to cold emailing) then the reputation and deliverability of your primary business email will also be hurt. It's best to have a separate domain and a new mailbox attached to that domain.
