Thanks! Can you clarify what the 100 email limit per campaign means? If I have three steps in a campaign, does it mean each step (first, second, and so on) can send 100 emails each? Or does the first step send 100 emails, and only when no new leads are left does the second step start sending?
Good video tutorial Gavin. Q: What email platform should one use (Gmail / Outlook)? Should you avoid using your company domain account (perhaps create a gmail burner)?
Thanks! I would recommend using both Gmail and Outlook for your email accounts to mitigate your risk just in case one cracks down on deliverability more. And yes I would 100% recommend avoid using your company domain for cold email in case it gets burned and all of your emails start to land in spam. Don't use @gmail.com accounts for cold email. Buy a separate domain to use specifically for your cold emails and forward it to your main domain / website. Let me know if you have any other questions that I can answer for you
Thanks for the video, Gavin! Ton of great, to the point, info! I was wondering how do you handle clients accounts with the "white label" features. Can you categorize or tag your own leads, email accounts and campaigns for your company and for each client so you have everything organized?
No problem! We handle it differently for each of our clients but I know there is an option on SL to pay like $30 / month to give your clients white label access to SL so they can go in and view their campaigns. But beyond that, yes - you can label each email account to each of your clients and setup folders in the campaign section for each of your clients so you can stay organized that way.
@@gavin_lataille Ok, thanks! Regarding spintaxes, do you recommend going above and beyond the Headline and greeting to avoid spam even more? For example, using spintaxes 3-5 times throughout the copy for common terms and expressions so each email is even more unique. Do you think it would make a difference?
@@caldasnake16 yeah I would recommend to start implementing spintax into the body of your email along with your headline, greetings and subject lines especially since deliverability is becoming harder and harder. Making each email you send out unique by using spintax is definitely worth it as it's not going to make your deliverability worse.
Smartlead does have subsequences but we've seen better results by manually following up with interested prospects rather then putting them into an automated subsequence.
So, how much is the max number of sent email daily from each email? Many experts recommend to send up to 25-30, and some even say that 15 is the max. Also, after warming up the accounts, you should keep warming your emails addresses, so if you are warming them you should set the max number including the warming emails sent from each email inbox ?
@@gavin_lataille After the initial 2 week warm up period is over and you slowly ramp up real emails daily until 50 per account, can you allocate all 50 emails for real emails (considering above 97% reputation)? Or you recommend always having a % set to warm up indefinitely?
I know you can add images and links within your campaigns on SmartLead but I'm not sure about pdf attachments. Either way, I wouldn't recommend sending any pdf attachments as you're going to ruin your deliverability and just land in spam. It's best to send over the pdf to a prospect after they've given you a positive reply to your first cold email. Position your CTA to ask the prsopect if they would like to see the pdf.
Insightful Gavin! Thanks for the shoutout 🚀
Thanks for your amazing platform!

do you have any vids on setting up emails and adding to smart lead?
I currently do not have any youtube videos out on running through the setup process... Hopefully I will get around to making some in the near future

Hi Jose, I recommend sending a max of 50 total emails per day per account. So you can 25 cold emails per day and 25 warmup emails per day per account.
