I put the bike away in November before Thanksgiving. Northern Ohio rider. My baby (bike) wasn't seeing road salt. Sleepy time till April. Sadly, I can no longer ride. I had gauntlets that velcroed over the handgrips. Kept the wind off your hands. Large Plexiglass windshield did the rest. 80's bikes were so versatile.
@@NesianMoto Even in the peak summer where its ~95F, at night its still high 70's low 80's which is still warm BUT when on a bike doing 30+ mph, that warm air gets cool, but still MUCH better than riding in the cold.
Florida here where its always HOT .... This week its been "colder" than normal. Actually the cold is early because our "cold" does not normally hit until Jan-Feb and we will hit the high 30's in the early AM hrs. But i don't ride in the cold. ill crank them up in the cold and let them idle for 30 min but i wont ride.
@@ACommenterOnTH-cam yeah man I need to move to where it doesn’t drop to the 30s 😅 Florida is where I wanted to go! I used to just park the bike and just start it up every morning. Now I have no choice but to ride it since it is my only transportation to work. The Mrs takes the truck to work 😅 so I have to just brave it out.
@@NesianMoto We will dip into the mid upper 30's like 2-3 times per year and its only during the ~4 am time frame but by 6am its up to low 40's ..... STILL COLD AS F'ck for us Floridians I lived in NYC for the 1st 15 yrs of my life and been in Florida since then and won't leave. I don't like the cold at all. I can deal with 50F+ but under 50, we have a problem, lol .... I work outside for a living so the cold SUCKS for my line of work.
