Have any of you ever seen in-cockpit videos of the flight crew making that 180° turn at the end of the runway to prepare for take-off? It's like they just sit there, and the plane turns around by itself...no steering action or anything like that ??
Pilots could either use the rudder pedals, located at their feet, or use the tiller. The tiller is more frequently used, and is located to the left or ride side of either pilot.
Nothing crazy about the take off. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the idiots who put themselves at risk, in spite of the warning signs and the hatching which has now been painted on the road.
