Listening to this early in the morning while my family is asleep, sitting in the backyard, a cup of warm tea with honey and lemon embodies everything i want my life to be.
Very different from the other reinterpretations of this music, I liked it. The buildup is quite interesting, it really gives off that trailer vibe, and the impression the *infected* aren’t just brainless monsters… Then the grand finale is just as you’d expect it, except it’s worse. Here again it makes you feel like there’s some kind of will behind the infection, like a wrathful revenge. Also the last part with piano and *DAMN HEAVY HIGH NOTES* is both sad and somewhat scary, like the ashes touching the ground after hell, yet implying *it* is not done. It’s adding a new detail that I didn’t feel in the original, in which the outro was just melancholic. I’m a fan of the original, but this version is really nice in my opinion. Really feeling the epicness here 👏
Thing is though, the zombies in the 28 series aren't undead. They're very much alive. Which is why shots to the t-box drop them. A bullet in the heart of a Romero zombie wouldn't bother them at all. Those are undead.

i have watched both movies and i prefer the first one because it had a better feel of a zombie movie as there was little CGI which gave it a very realistic vibe. one of my favourite scenes is when Jim is walking through the empty streets of London which just creates such a big feeling of isolation and that you know instantly that something is wrong as London as the city is never quiet. But above all of these moments the best scene is the mansion escape at the end when the original version of this song plays and the infected are running around and its stormy. its such an epic moment.
The perfect music for when you and your allies are speeding out of the city while you are leaning out of the window and firing upon a mass of infected zombies chasing after you.
