I had a wisdom tooth removal that left me with no sense for weeks on the right lower side of my jaw. No matter how much would botox make me look better, or skin more smooth. When she is smiling she is squinting in such a weird way. You can tell that something is wrong. Also I always looked younger for some reason.
Some overdo it in a shocking way, like the Kardashians with their halloween like masks instead of faces and this dead "expression" in their eyes. I don't get it why people wanna look as if they had a stroke and ended up paralized. If it's done well you still can move your face and won't look weird, just a bit fresher, like you sleep very well and enjoy your life. I told the doctor that I want the kids at school to see it when I start getting annoyed with them. And although my frown lines are nearly gone, you will notice if I'm even a little bit angry. And apart from that I think it's a good biofeedback when the face tells the brain "we are not that angry". Well with the crowfeet I take even less, also to avoid the biofeedback "we are not really laughing". I also want wrinkles when I smile, just less deep crow feet when I don't smile. There is a big grey zone where people just say "she aged so well, what a natural beauty and such a positive expression, you can tell she is a happy, relaxed person" 😂 that's what people say to me a lot, I'm not really using Make-up. I get Botox for chronic pain into muscles on my neck and shoulder and also for migraines skull, and face and traps. This worries me about long term effects of theses treatments. I hate when getting my Botox for migraine injections makes it so I can’t squint my forehead. Such a odd feeling 😮
I have been using it for 10 years now, for eye muscles, also for migraines. After 3 months after injection my face looks as before, but really I don't have so much wrinkles as my friend of same 38 age. And of course it's really helpful with migraines.
37 years ago during my 8th month of pregnancy I woke up with Bell’s palsy on my left side of my face. They said it probably would go away after I delivered. Some of it did but I still the left cheek won’t go all the way up and my eye is droopy. When I smile only my right side goes up. I don’t know why you would do this to yourself.
Its not even slightly the same thing. Its a demo and she can make it symmetrical now that she showed the results. botox only lasts for a matter of months and is also used in the treatment of migraines and jaw clenching or grinding.
A little is ok though. You can have botox but it's very subtle & natural looking. Many go way too far these days, to the point they look scary.. it gives botox a bad rap. But just a little is the way to go!

After having had a life time of TIA's, I can safely say there's never been a reason to put toxic muscle killers into my body. If people can't enjoy what God created (and I must say Perfectly) then they can deal with the repercussions they receive when we meet our Maker. Be ready God knows the inward person the body it inhabits is only a shell. When we as believers die we get a glorified body, what ever you sow that is what you will reap. Thank you sweetie for showing people the results of the choice of doing Botox.
Thank you very much for going out of your way to show us this. But if I'm honest, I thought the side without was the one you injected. Your natural side looks much prettier.
My understanding is that the muscles injected like the platysmal bands are those that pull the lip corners down as opposed to the muscles that lift your lips upward when you smile
The left side of her face (our right side from audience view) is so beautiful and expressive. I don't judge people who get Botox, but I ask everybody out there who is contemplating it to reexamine their own personal beauty that others might see that you don't . After all we are our own harshest critics
Byt what is it doing inside your face and how will it look in a few years i don't know about Botox ive seen too many people do it for years and now they look really bad
Facial expressions are so very important for our relationships. People who are altering their faces and thereby messing with their expressions have absolutely no idea, because no one makes genuine expressive reactions in response to others while looking in a mirror. They only see in the mirror that the wrinkle is filled, the skin is lifted or plumped, and they feel happy. But it’s these genuine facial expressions we give to others that allow real emotional connection. They *think* they are making these expressions but sadly they aren’t. Their faces are not matching their emotions and words, causing relational confusion and disconnect in the other person. I see this happen sometimes with grandmothers and their grand babies. The grandmothers who have had a lot of work done are often saying “I don’t know why my grand baby doesn’t like me/let me hold her/cries when I talk to her”.
Never had Botox before. I had forehead botox ten days ago. I can see that all elevator muscles on my face are now stronger and my face had a lifting effect. Neuromodulation and myomodulation are very underrated topics.
And you’re not going to be so happy when it wears off and you’ll be 5/6 months older than you were before getting it. I have two friends who deeply regret having Botox for this reason…as it felt worse when it wore off than they felt before doing it ….

@@gummiehobi8032 yes, but take it with a grain of salt - if she wasn’t a cosmetologist who did this for clients, she wouldn’t be able to do it for herself. In that way, of course it’s promoting cosmetic procedures.
It is science - showing facts. What you do with it, is up to you. It is about deciding from facts and knowledge. If you like, what bottox does - do it. If not, do not.
Thanks for the demo Dr, definitely won't be getting botox👎
I love science!! ❤️
I'll refrain from injections in my body for looks though...To grow old and age is a privilege. ❤ I do appreciate you using yourself as the guinea pig! I tend to do experiments myself (not like this, of course, but doing different facial exercises to see differences).
👍
👍🙏👍
When you start looking tired grumpy and feeling prematurely old....you WILL be going to the dermatologist! I know many people who said same.
.. and then sat in plastic surgeons chairs 😅
Lol I dont know anyone. Its not as common as some people think it is. Why would you hate your face and want to become a robot without facial expressions. Just love yourself hon, dont let big corps tell you any diff@@sarahmk2966
@@sarahmk2966I wouldn't. I think they all look beautiful but it scares me to think my face is no longer emoting. I think about all the beautiful nuances of my parents faces, when they expressed their love for me, emotions, pride, joy, peace. I couldn't bear for my daughter not to see those things in mine.
I had a wisdom tooth removal that left me with no sense for weeks on the right lower side of my jaw. No matter how much would botox make me look better, or skin more smooth. I also feel like I would go crazy once my facial muscles would feel frozen. I had a boss, she is 10 years younger than me and has been putting botox on her face since her early 30ties.
But I always tell them it's a mix of good genes and good investment or just say "thank you, it was quite expensive"
@@evastern231 I love the fact that kids could still figure out if you are mad and that you actually look well rested! I do have some under eye crow feet but they don’t look bad all the time, sometimes it’s allergies and watery eyes and I still don’t think Botox would help. I feel like it could maybe cause more issues as my eyes are so sensitive. And my eye lids get swollen for no reason at all!
Much respect to you for doing this experiment. I very much appreciate it, and now have become more informed! Thank you!
So glad you are not using animals to test superficial procedures for humans.🙏
Acaso lo prueban en animales? Está prohibido no?
I think that ship sailed, years ago. It was first used to deal with cerebal palsy.
at these doses it would have zero sense. We're checking the esthetic influence of the poison on a human face. Also, it has to prove that you can't move your muscles even if you want - good luck to 100% convince an animal to "want" to move a specific muscle for you...
What gave you the impression animals were not used?
Nearly are medicines are tested on animals before humans.
Please continue to educate us!! I appreciate you on TH-cam !
lol!! No thank you! I’m definitely taking this video to my next appointment which is nowish. That’s amazing
Woww... a doctor willing to show a test comparison on themself? That just gained a lot of my respect. Thank you Doc 🙂
That would freak me out to not be able to move my muscles. I'll be 42 in a couple of months and can see the changes in my face as the years pass. To age is actually a gift denied to so many. I'll keep the lines and the ability to move my face muscles, thanks.
This is a GREAT example of how treatment of the lower face enhances appearance! Thanks for sharing this!
This is not an enhancement at all... not being able to move the face is not better than natural movement
@@Strawberries1994 you’re entitled to your opinion. My Nefertiti neck lift looks great!
@@Strawberries1994movement and appearance are two different things, the treated side does look better and more youthful. Some people might not mind the lack of movement.
@@eveFlower101and the cords in the neck are not pronounced. Think I will try Botox.
who would have this done! madness!
The striking thing is how the injected side is higher! I wonder if your face is asymmetrical as most are. It’d be useful to see photos with before and after too!
Thank you!!!
Вот именно, что её лицо очень асимметрично, даже костная структура, это видно. Ботокс тут не при чём.
The long term effects of Botox are not entirely known yet. I'll pass.
What do you mean? Are there studies showing some sort of long term effect?
@@MrsK976No! That's the point they are making! It's unknown what any long term effect might be. Time will tell. Do you want to inject something into your face the long-term side effects of which is not yet known?
Botox in the face has been studied for 35+ years. And as a non-brand since the 1800s. Of course we know the long term effects. How many lifetimes do you need? lol
I never knew botox could work so well on bottom of face. Thank you for showing us.
Ooooh now it makes sense why my nasolabial fold is more pronounced, now that I haven’t done masseter Botox in almost a year. I have a really bad teeth grinding problem and after my dentist told me how messed up my teeth on the right side got from grinding I decided to try masseter Botox. and that’s the only thing that helped. So I did this for about a year and a half for medical reasons but I noticed that I somehow looked better afterwards and now it makes sense why 😂 I only stopped bc of financial reasons but I want to book a new appointment soon.
You’re talking about two very different things, don’t take personal!
If i am not mistaken botox has side effects. It is supposed to wear of. Muscular atrophy can be a side effect.@@nisamskreuzer5891
Botox does have side effects. Over time botox can lead to muscle atrophy.
So Sorry that happened to you ❤
Wow amazing!! Thank you for doing this experiment!
I’m getting Botox after seeing this! Love the results ❤ could definitely see a significant difference that the right side of your face looks fuller
ME TOO OMG! And I'm taking this video to my doc. This really softened the smile lines!
it looks so gooood
Wow- randomly clicked BUT omg - the natural side was much more attractive and pleasing.
Now I've seen this...I'm going to get my Botox done....this has confirmed that fillers n Botox keep you looking fresh......well done Doctor
As Deborah Vance says in "Hacks" "I do not redo I refresh" when her assistant writer says she gets her face redone all the time.
Fillers look really bad over time
Really? Too me this video has shown how scary Botox is, her face is paralysed! Who would want to put that into their face?
Just only try baby Botox six units only on the 11th. Do not try below the eye.
Wow that's WILD! Thank you for the visual 👍🏻👍🏻
I appreciate your allowing yourself to go through it to show us. Very nice
Don’t do BOTOX
please.
Ageing is part of the our 😮lives.
Embrace it.
A little is ok though. You can have botox but it's very subtle & natural looking.
Many go way too far these days, to the point they look scary.. it gives botox a bad rap. But just a little is the way to go!
Don’t tell people what to do! Live your life as you want 😘
I'm shocked to have found a channel this good! Subscribed!
I love this result! I have not had botox yet, but was wondering if there is an option to help with my one eye that droops down lower than the other making me feel very un-symmetrical
This is the type of thing Science SERIOUSLY NEEDS today. True Dr. Right here.
Definitely a noticeable difference, my question is what does Botox do to your body or the areas injected long term effects wise?
It’s poison
It is a toxin.. obviously! 😮.. @@laylascott6096
I don't see much of a difference.
@@lh1514
Over time it prevents aging and wrinkling..
I hear it makes the muscles weaker because you're not using them anymore so can cause sagging
You are the best Dr on TH-cam I always look forward to your videos you are always 💯 honest thank you for all you do and share ❤
This is super cool! I've been talking to my patients about botox on the lower half. This shows what ammazing results can be achieved
Great demonstration!! Thank you for being the lab Ray and posting the results. They are very interesting.
Kudos to you for your experiment! But your face which is not injected looks way better. God bless
How many units please and how deep 🙏🏻 thank you
This is amazingly helpful! It looks like the Botox side looks fuller too, in a youthful way…I had no idea Botox could do that much.
I think it looks puffy and swollen, not youthful.
@@BeeBlot I don’t see it…puffy and swollen is what Hyaluronic acid fillers do to the face, especially when injected into the midface and under the eyes. Alot of celebs and influencers are sporting it and it’s easy to spot. But she doesn’t look like that, I think she looks good.
Botox side looks amazing
You would be beautiful either way, but since we are living longer feeling younger and working longer, why not stay looking the best we can.
It’s been proven that people that use botox have less lines in their face and wrinkle slower so why not.
I think that is from the filler not Botox. And I don’t think she needs the filler, she already has thick skin.
I'm going to age gracefully after watching this, thank you, great input 😊
You are so clear with your information 👏👏👏👏Thank you ❤
Thank you Doctor for all the amazing information you give us. ❤
thank you for educating us . very informative and very helpful.
Interesting 🧐 Thanks for the demo! 🙏🏽
Great videos. Just like others have asked how many units in each muscle?
Very very useful and informative
Thanks for the amazing demonstration! Very helpful to understand. Can you share appropriately how many units you used in each area for that effect? (Maybe starting with half that amount would be a good starting point?)
Happy to see you still have a cute smile on that side at the end of your video 🙂
Thank you for your bravery. Never Botox. All of my wrinkles and scars are only showing what I have been through. Remembering how strong I am.❤
You should do a video on the latest studies on injectable’s causing cancer
Had cancer my own body was the reason didn't inject or smoke or drink also pretty sure tht all the other crap we have polluted the planet with is the cause of cancer especially if you take into account tht children get cancer : / atomic bombs have been dropped nuclear power plants have meltdown shit pumped into the oceans an animals pumped full of drugs tht are not for human consumption : / oh lawd I could go on
Botox doesn't
Everything causes cancer
This was the best thing I’ve seen today ❤
Thank you so much for this demonstration. Very important to see the actual damages Botox does to facial muscles and expression
Love your videos ❤ thank you
her jawline is so define and V shape..i love it
Thank you very much for going out of your way to show us this. But if I'm honest, I thought the side without was the one you injected. Your natural side looks much prettier.
AMAZING! Thanks so much for this experiment, Doc; the results are 🤩🤩🤩
Your smile at the end when you said “you’re welcome”looks symmetrical though?
My understanding is that the muscles injected like the platysmal bands are those that pull the lip corners down as opposed to the muscles that lift your lips upward when you smile
I love love love this kind of videos ❤
You’re absolutely amazing for doing this! Great teach!! 👍😎
This is actually preatty neat. Thank you for science and educational purposes!
Thanks Dr.Bita !
How many units?
Find yourself beautiful and find someone in your life that finds you beautiful as you are! Inner beauty is timeless.
I like the natural side more! Softer, more friendly and real!
I love this doctor. I want to know where she is so I could go see her.❤️❤️
Me too. If you find out let me know, pls 😊
Westlake Village, California
Let's face it, she's a natural beauty already. That line isn't long enough for my chins
😂
The left side of her face (our right side from audience view) is so beautiful and expressive.
I don't judge people who get Botox, but I ask everybody out there who is contemplating it to reexamine their own personal beauty that others might see that you don't .
After all we are our own harshest critics
Wow.
Big difference. Now i understand what they are talking about.
This is real science.
Thanks!
Thank you dr. Bita
Byt what is it doing inside your face and how will it look in a few years i don't know about Botox ive seen too many people do it for years and now they look really bad
It’s fillers that look bad after years, Botox wears off
Facial expressions are so very important for our relationships.
Thank you for showing me exactly why NOT to have Botox! 🥰 I wish more Botox “Dr’s” were as clear and honest as you🙌
Thanks for the tutorial info❤
Never had Botox before. I had forehead botox ten days ago. I can see that all elevator muscles on my face are now stronger and my face had a lifting effect. Neuromodulation and myomodulation are very underrated topics.
Wondering if you find you feel less tension in face / forehead and less headaches?
@@CoCoCat1234 never had headaches in my life. Two weeks ago I had another Botox session for doa and jaw. My jaw is less tensed.
And you’re not going to be so happy when it wears off and you’ll be 5/6 months older than you were before getting it. I have two friends who deeply regret having Botox for this reason…as it felt worse when it wore off than they felt before doing it ….
@@integrityisnotforsale1531 forehead is a muscle: use it or lose it. After Botox it can be smaller and weaker but after some time it will be just like before. I really doubt I will look older when disappears.
WTF?! Is this what Botox does?! I thought all those comedy skits I've seen over the years were just exaggerating. WHOA!
This is brilliant. I wish all of those who administer fillers and Botox were this intelligent.
Wow, thanks! Now I know what to tell my injector what I want. It addresses the areas I'm concerned with
Your cheek looks a bit fuller too on the treated side.
Thank God I haven't gotten any botox, and thank you for showing this video. It's scary to see the effects of it.
