I have been getting Botox in my neck in the platyma muscles, due to muscle spasms. Hemi Facial Spasms to be exact. But I get them injected directly into the muscles in the neck. I know from experience, if you inject in the chin area or miss at all in the lower quadrant of the face you WILL end up with facial neuropathy type problems or what will appear to others as Bell’s palsy, until it wears off in 3-4 months. My spasms in my face, do what she was “exaggerating her face doing” in the video. My neurologist does my Botox. After getting injections for over 11 years now, I would HIGHLY suggest never putting injections where she is suggesting. I know from experience.

If you don’t contort your face, including frowning, you won’t need Botox; which atrophies muscles.
