I have been wanting to spice up the shed and make it pretty this is the first part of a series of decor that I will be adding to give some life to the shed and draw the eye to it. I am starting by adding some colour with soft pastel containers of wave petunias mixed with some Dusty Miller, and Portulaca.
This will probably be a three part series to decorate the shed. I need to add some colour around the doors and then decorate the surrounding area with perennials to make it stand out so stayed tuned for the next steps in this series.

The containers are a wonderful pop of color in themselves and the plants you chose really go nicely with it. I really like the plum Petunias.
Thanks Sydney I hope to repaint those containers next year their starting to fade may change the colour to something else. I like their shape and size. Had them for quite a few years I figured purple and pink would look good and different from the other containers I have planted so far.

Thanks Philee I think anything goes with lime green. It’s definitely bright was hoping the purple and pink colours will complement it.

Very pretty combinations, the green pots really brighten the area nicely. I am going to look up the difference between shockwave and easy wave petunias. So many choices! Thanks for sharing your garden in this video.
Thanks Terria. Yes I prefer the different wave petunias they stand up well in our weather and are full of blooms. Plus they are more economical.
That purple vein petunia reminds me of the PW Supertunia Bordeaux I used in my containers last year. Love all your colours you chose. They pop in that lime green container. Bonny
Thanks Bonnie yes I used the purple vein last year in my window boxes they were amazing lots of blooms pretty tough plant so was happy to find some again to use.

Yes I want to do more decorating maybe some more pots or plants along the shed been trying to come up with more ideas so it’s not so plain.
Pink lemonade petunia is really lovely color first time seeing that color,porulca, dusty miller are my favorite container plants I also like sweet potato vine, and tall geranium. Some containers I also put in sunflower seeds in back for height.enjoy your videos.
Sunflower seeds are a good idea I do have some kicking around here I could add great idea!

You could get some window boxes and add to front of shed wall. Not sure if that's feasible tho due
to your winter if you get heavy snowloads the snow on window boxes might tear them off of shed..I think ornamental cabbage and ornamental grass spikes could help break up the area. Sorry I just love to design plant containers and areas in garden I see a area my brain just goes a mile a minute with things to fill area and different heights of containers to break up area and draw your eye to new areas.
I love all your ideas keep them coming been thinking king a lot how to jazz it up.
