Some people lose the plot a bit with their criticism of Tavernier. The guy has unbelievable numbers, goals and assists, season after season. He is a fucking right back!? He isnt even meant to be getting stats like this and affecting games as much as he has consistently over the time he has been at Rangers. Yes some defensive frailties but just look at his numbers going forward, its outrageous. If he goes it will be 100% with my best wishes, tremendous servant in a really poor era for Rangers with a contribution individually that belies his actual position on the pitch

Tav abuse is pathetic. On top of what Shona said, when the squad was improved under Gerrard, we were invincibles, then went on to win both domestic cups in following 2 years, Tav also led the team to a Europa final. Piss poor management of the squad has been to blame recently. The fact Tav plays so many games while others are in the treatment room gets no credit from some!
I do hope he leaves to go to Saudi & earn a heap of gold as he more than deserves that!

dont generally watch on youtube, but subscribed and listen on the podcast, since first episode. enjoy, tho making it longer to cover more topics or in more detail would be a plus.

Thanks everyone. Totally agree on Tav, until he leaves he's captain. One of the few who were available every game last season and has been in his 9 years so far.
Is that a good thing ? Or a bad thing ? - being available for every game for 9 years - IF YOU CLEARLY CANT DEFEND/TACKLE/RUN.
The ( vast majority ) want this guy gone.

Sad to see the levels to which Scottish Mainstream Media and the Daily Record in particular has sunk in recent years.
If Tavernier and Goldson are here come the summer window closing , might aswell hand Celtic the title . We will NEVER win or progress with those two at the club. It is obvious to everyone that they should go . But Rangers being Rangers , expect them both to stay. Top to bottom the club is out of touch with reality .
I disagree with the idea that Bobrovsky should have won the Conn Smythe… and don’t think McDavid should have won it either.
For me Barkov should have won… he shut down 4 top notch forwards in 4 consecutive series.
Defensive, ‘shut down’ forwards get no respect. …and he contributes more to Florida’s offence.
Finally, in the finals (when it counts), McD was essentially MIA in 5 of the 7 games. He wracked up points in 2 games and against LA and a Vancouver team playing their 3rd string goalie.
Barkov beat the last 2 President’s Cup winners and a recent dynasty with this year’s top point getter.

Hi mate, No one has said a thing to us about anything. Club, fans anything.
I can only speak for myself and my opinion hasn’t changed I said that. But I genuinely think newspaper headlines of him being dumped as captain & others take it on whilst he is still here is unfair on him. I said also it doesn’t change my opinion on him leaving. We were all pretty much the same.
I don’t see how that is bad or anything?!
