You walk toward somebody, moving left or right occasionally, and hold left click.

Geo Leavitt pre-patch symmetra went like this: if you got close to anything you would die, the damege was shit and you couldn't even defend the objective.

Wtf I can finally comment on my own video, another bug on TH-cam's side. What I was trying to say was that, thank you all so much for 100,000 subscribers now almost 120,000! In a bit of a struggle financially at the moment but providing quality music that fits the video perfectly is far more important to me than money. If you're wondering, I did change the title from "Symmetra Is Buff" to "Nerf Symmetra" idk why tbh, I spent like 8 hours thinking of a title and then just thought of a better one now. What I am learning from each video I make is that I need to be making videos on the heroes that I enjoy playing, so by god if I hit a clip better than a 720 you better believe I'm making another Widowmaker video. Hopefully I'm wrong here but I feel like when I play 15 hours a day of Symmetra for almost a week, the boredom I felt shows in the video. (except for when I figured out I have the force, that shit made me cream) Anyways sorry for the long story, wish I could have been able to explain it earlier. So many problems lately. Hopefully you guys are enjoying the content thus far and hope you guys will stick around for longer! Peace.

No its 120 dps on an autolock, a shield that means you cant hit her while she charges you with that ridiculous dps and an ult that is literally a guaranteed six man rez and charges so fast that its not even worth destroying it, shes op as fuck, and even worse, she takes absolutely no skill whatsoever
Thejson204 Alright fine, let's assume for argument's sake that symmetra takes no skill to play. That doesn't make her OP, especially when you compare her to a hero like Genji. She's not even as annoying as Genji. Her skill cap according to you is very limited, so why would a skilled player not use someone else? Why would a lesser skilled player not pick her if they want to help support the team? This game is meant to cater to all skill levels to some degree. You could make an argument for any hero that they're op.. well except doomfist. At that point it becomes a fact. :p

Her fucking turrets slow down your movement speed for whatever fucking reason making you to take way more fucking damage than if you could move at your regular speed. *EVERY* Sym tries so hard to fucking strafe when they are damaging you and it's hard to kill her when her damage is gradually increasing over time as well as you panicking because the more time she's damaging you the quicker you draw closer to your death. That one is just a lack of skill problem though, but the worst part of them all is she is easily put on "Team Cancer" . Which is basically Torb, Sym, Mercy, Bastion, Rein, and Junkrat. Team Cancer can be alternated but each team always has a Sym or Torb and it's so fucking annoying to deal with to the point where you're already tilted as fuck. Honestly, I just hate her I hate her character and I might be exaggerating but I would be so relieved if she was just removed from the game entirely.

Prince Fancypenguin her problem was range. Getting up close was almost suicide, the barrier gives you a fast portable rein shield.

Long story short: She can do Symmetra things better, and what she does best is utility. 6 turrets in stock instead of 3, a new ultimate, and the barrier which replaces a near useless ability that you constantly had to put on the team every time they died. With the range increase, she can also fight people without risking death quite as much and can shred teams that don't take her down fast.
