I bought a new blower motor for my 2012 Kia Forte EX hatchback several months ago and have tried a few times to get the old one out but couldn't, so I would just hit the fan until it started working again, hahaha. Anyway, this week, the hitting stopped working and thankfully I found your video this morning!!! That damn clip was the reason why! Thank you so much for this video. You saved me so much $$$!!!
THANK YOU!!! I had my cabin filter replaced then immediately after started hearing a noise at 3 and 4, I figured something fell into it. This was the video that helped me to disassemble the blower motor (I could not figure out how to disconnect the plug. So I followed your directions to a T other than that. Of all things it was a rock in the blower motor! Everything is great now, my one caution and you mentioned it is to make sure it is securely in place before you turn it on. Thought I damaged my motor but it was just grinding on the housing. Redid it and everything is flawless. Again THANK YOU!

Thank you! I was able to take my fan out and fix my issue. Saved me easily $250 for repair. 🎉
