Hmm 😊😅😂❤ I am downloading because a storm took our Wi-Fi. It’s back. But is sooo slow. Anyway while driving with my mother. Signs two miles away please. But don’t complicates self by putting in the name of county instead of just the road number? I think Im just still mad about 10 years ago when I got so lost because the roadside sign said Limerick and I wanted to go to Kilkenny. I should have followed the limerick sigh. Make sense. I still can’t.
Geoff, you aren’t alone with the TMJ buddy, we out here. Mine comes with tinnitus so when I clench I get a ring too. Keep us updated with any help the sports therapist can give you.
I'm happy the Gurpler launch was successful! I'm glad I was able to get one - first merch I've gotten from your show (aside from the Ratyboy shirt). It's nice to hear that virtually everyone was considerate enough to just buy one and make sure more people could get one. Thanks so much, fellas.
Geoff - my wife has terrible TMJ and teeth grinding. She recently switched dentists and was told that it is likely caused by her missing canine (she was born missing one). Missing that canine means her teeth can shift around easier. Canines help tear meat but also are critical to prevent us over grinding our molars! I can't recall if you have a canine tooth issue. She cracked a molar from grinding in the past which led to discovering TMJ and all this. The mouth guard works great to help her though so hlad you are getting a fitted one! You can also look into tmj face massagers. They are nice too.
You know what, I'm at least glad that Geoff's turkey story ended with Someone might have gotten to enjoy it. I was fully expecting the 'smells good' to turn into 'smells rotten' or Albert chews on it
Yea, I fully expected it to be something like the fridge wasn't plugged in or turned on, because I have definitely been in a hotel room where the fridge wasn't on and I didn't figure it out until my last day in it...
As a Missourian and a season passholder and the number one lover of Silver dollar city, please take Gavin to Branson!!! that would be amazing lol even if you don’t record it he needs to see it
Whats up everyone, lifetime Regulation listener, first time comment leaver, local to southwest Missouri. Branson is awesome, and just an hour north is Springfield, which has the best bass pro shop ever. I would love to hear Gavin experience bass pro shops
Hey Geoff, I know y’all probably don’t read the comments super often. But I’m someone with severe anxiety and have had TMJ since I was like twelve, so I’m an experienced sufferer with both. If you ever need any advice, I’m here. My tmj is permanent though, since it’s a structural thing 👍 Also, I was very excited to hear you talk about Branson and Silver Dollar City, very underrated part of America that I visit every summer!
Would genuinely love some advice. I’ve been told recently that I have TMJ - turns out constant jaw pain and clicking and not being able to open very wide isn’t normal 😅
@@Alice-fr5hl honestly, the biggest help for me was changing my diet! Might seem like common sense, but as soon as I quit chewing gum, it made a world of difference. My jaw hasn’t locked up in years :). So I would take out any food or candy items that require a lot of chewing. This could also include things like getting a rarer cut of meat that makes the meat less tough. I also know there’s a lot of free, online physical therapy tips for stretching your jaw to lessen pain and increase mobility. Also, when you’re in a high anxiety situation, try to remember to loosen your jaw (easier said than done, but I’ve found the reminder to help me). If you find the pain to be debilitating or just too much of a general nuisance, you could talk to your dentist or doctor about going to see a proper physical therapist, or even surgery if your problem is structural like mine.
Hearing Geoff just now discovered Branson, Missouri is such a delight. As a lower middle class Missourian, Branson vacations were a staple in my childhood😅 you really have not seen America until you've been to Branson lmao😂
Geoff your mouth pain describes my life for the last year. Going to the dentist to be told nothing is wrong, told I probably grind my teeth in my sleep. Except I'm 23 and worried this is my life now.
Hey! I saw your comment and wanted to copy a post I comment I just wrote for Geoff, but I think it could help you too! Geoff (and other pain sufferers in the comments), I had a similar thing to you and was in pain for 5 years and am now totally out of pain. I wish someone has sent me this info a long time ago, but before getting botox I think it might be worth checking out this podcast called "Tell Me About Your Pain", the episode called "I'm Trying So Hard to Get Rid of My Pain, Why Isn't It Working?" (The episode starts at 1:40). The fact that your pain moves around, comes and goes, gets worse in times of stress (like holidays :P), and is focused on an area where you have a lot of fear, are all HUGE indicators that your pain is neuroplastic and doesn't need physical treatment. I think this is still a pretty new concept, so not a lot of doctors/health practitioners know about it and they'll try to find a physical reason for pain, even if there's nothing structurally wrong with you, like they did for me. Of course TMJ is a very real thing and I don't want to minimize it at all, but the fact that you don't seem to have any structural issues and because of all the reasons I mentioned above it might be worth checking out this avenue. Good luck!!!!!
As a person who's actually worked at the factory similar to that, it is easy in the sense of to do that of what Gavin's talking about? The only difference is that it's going to be a little bit harder to execute because there are going to be imperfections in the material in between changes.
What about a notice sign that notifys you that it is a sign and for you to notice it so it just a sign that say notice me or notice and under it it's just says sign like this one 24:38
I just had my case of unexplained anxiety diagnosed as hyperthyroidism. Very treatable and can be identified with a simple blood test, so an easy one to check.
Turning in my comment leaver card to say I thought I had TMJ thanksgiving, which was due to stress and gum chewing. Turns out it was an abscessed tooth which needed to be extracted. I feel for you Geoff
Hey Geoff as someone who's had a dozen root canals, bone grafting in my jaw, and implants in my mouth I feel your pain. Sorry you have to go through that! See if you can find a good oral surgeon they're way more knowledgeable than a dentist! See if they can do anything for the nerves, sometimes it just takes the right person. I know my mom had them use a Gamma Knife to fix some nerve endings in her mouth with chronic pain. Wishing you the best!!!
Places that don't require front license plates often have "Don't back in" rules because the police want to be able to see your plate without getting out of their car.
My mother ground her teeth for years and didn't know. When she finally developed TMJ they found her jaw was out of alignment, they found she had ground her teeth so much that when they re-aligned her jaw her upper and lower teeth no longer touched. She had about an 1/8" gap all the way around.
THE BEST WAY TO PARK IS BY BACKING INTO IT and it's for 2 big reasons · Cars are more maneuverable when going backwards, thus making parking an easier/safer move · You can GTFO way faster and while having a good look into traffic THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE = Depending on the parking site, it might be wise to NOT do that so you can load up your groceries
All the touristy trap places Geoff saw on his trip are ironically all in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, Tennessee and have been to many of them in my life lol
backing into spaces is preferred because you can make it into tighter spots because the turning wheels become the rear wheels when in reverse , sorry nick you're wrong on this one 🤣🤣
Jeff may have ADHD, two common symptoms of ADHD is anxiety and then an inability to tell where the anxiety is coming from. Seeking treatment for this may help.
I was actually thinking 'thank god his jaw was hurting for days' because otherwise the symptoms he was describing are the same ones I have had for mayocarditis. The tooth/jaw pain is where it starts but it fades after the chest pain starts.
Geoff’s pain also sounds like he might have some damage to his trigeminal nerve (either maxillary or mandibular depending on where the pain is localized). Recommend seeing a neurologist.
Gavin not understanding what a stop sign warning sign is for is the biggest indicator that he doesn't drive. It's also so him to just be barreling down the road and then going around a blind corner only to find a car stopped at a stop sign right around the corner and just plow right into the car because he didn't understand the significance of a warning that there might be a car stopped in the middle of the road where you can't see it coming up.
Andrew just made me realize waking up randomly with a sprained ankle is I've probably been hyper extending my ankle in my sleep because of the spasms from cerebral palsy.
The first night Geoff gets his new mouthguard he needs to enter the bedroom to a recording Andrew or someone does announcing Geoff ramscoop Ramsey Fighting out of Austin, Texas. Weighing in at etc... 😂
It's safer to back into parking spots as you can see clearly when leaving. You know, all those impatient drivers not paying attention to people who have to leave!
Gavin not driving, but having strong opinions about what is and isn't needed is a very Gavin thing to do
He's very much correct
@MrBigNicholas not about the stop sign ahead sign. Those come in handy on curvy roads where you don't see much ahead.
Hmm 😊😅😂❤

Nothing fills me with as much Comedic Dread than seeing "Geoff's Thanksgiving Troubles" in the title
Honestly, I have to skip a lot of Geoff's stories like this, they give me so much anxiety.
Facts
as much comedic dread*
I almost spit out my coffee when Nick yelled from a distance, "Here's your sign! Thats his bit!"
I remember watching the Blue Collar comedy specials on TV when I was younger. That definitely hit me in the memory feels as well, lolol
The "stop sign ahead" sign is actually super helpful on hilly and woodsy back roads
Or places where there's a new one
Geoff, you aren’t alone with the TMJ buddy, we out here. Mine comes with tinnitus so when I clench I get a ring too. Keep us updated with any help the sports therapist can give you.
I love the backgrounds for the podcast, but I wish they'd say what it was in the description.
I think this one is RDR2?

I've suffered with migraines since I was a kid; well over 20 years. I started receiving Botox injections in my neck and it absolutely changed my life.
Dang I’m here before the skip ad guy 21:29
Anyone can be the skip ad guy, it just takes one person to step up to the challenge.
If you're nothing without the skip ad guy then you don't deserve the skip ad guy
false. you are the skip ad guy now.
Looks like you are bang on time for the ad guy

Every time they talked about Branson my brain kept overwriting it to Branston and I'd think 'The pickle place'?
Never had a Branston, but I assure you (as someone who lived there for 2.5 years) it is better than Branson, MO
pickle lore video?
already exists. nevermind

Poutine is hot gravy. It is kept warm for a long time in the kitchen. If not kept warm enough, bacteria can have a party in it and later in you too.
My favourite sign I saw in the wild was one that read "Private Sign Do Not Read"
A Full Spectrum Warrior, continuing to leave a Regulation Comment
Nicks sign is perfect for the kitchen. My GF hates when you bug her while she's cooking. Doesn't stop me but the sign might
Nick talking about his lawyer brother is actually hilarious

I for one will be watching the 3 hour 40 minute GTA Lets Play in full
Same. Don't threaten us with a good time, guys 😄
We all watched uno the movie, do they think we've gotten any better? 😂
@@TheYardninja here's looking at you
Andrew's fancy voice, especially how he yells "god dammit", sounds like Cameron talking to Mr. Rooney in Ferris Bueller lol
The electric blue gurpler needs a glow-in-the-dark lightning bolt and glow-in-the-dark writing
As a person who's actually worked at the factory similar to that, it is easy in the sense of to do that of what Gavin's talking about? The only difference is that it's going to be a little bit harder to execute because there are going to be imperfections in the material in between changes.
Geoff was in Springfield MO, and I didn’t even know! When he takes Gavin here, there needs to be a meet up!
Blue glow in the dark Gurp you say? I might be in on that 😂
MISSOURI MENTIONED!!!
For someone that can't drive, Gavin always has so many driving opinions
What about a notice sign that notifys you that it is a sign and for you to notice it so it just a sign that say notice me or notice and under it it's just says sign like this one 24:38
"Color ain't right" is soooo much Gavin hahaha
Every Geoff trouble story is him going to the doctor and the doctor telling him to go watch a Geoff Ramsay show for treatment.
I just had my case of unexplained anxiety diagnosed as hyperthyroidism. Very treatable and can be identified with a simple blood test, so an easy one to check.
Regulation full spectrum warrior strapped in and ready to receive comedy
would love to see an “andrew attempts impressions” video, every time he does a voice it’s so bad but so funny
Geoff was in my town... Never would have thought he would be in Tulsa, hope he enjoyed it and hopefully found a good cup of coffee!
Turning in my comment leaver card to say I thought I had TMJ thanksgiving, which was due to stress and gum chewing. Turns out it was an abscessed tooth which needed to be extracted. I feel for you Geoff
The next included sticker for Regulation Drops should be a "Worst Choice" sticker.
If they do a glow in the dark Gurpler it needs to be called the Glowpler.

I swear this is the third time gavins proposed a parking competition. I think hes been practicing
Anybody else having phantom mouth pains as geoff was telling his story
Please do a version of Does it Do with the worst products!!
Andrew's gardetto voice was peak
Places that don't require front license plates often have "Don't back in" rules because the police want to be able to see your plate without getting out of their car.
Walking around like a dog in the red boots really got me, laughed til I coughed.
Geoff is the best at Geoffing it.

Blue Raspberry Gurpler coming this summer.

That entire sign bit makes me remember Jeff Foxworthys here's your sign bit he does
It was actually Bill Engvall. Foxworthy's bit was the "you might be a redneck."
I got detention in high school for putting a bunch of “Dry Paint” signs on the walls

If yall end up coming back to Branson yall gotta let us know as a Missouri resident that would be awesome
glow in the dark gurpler should be called the Glowpler
My wife's family is obsessed with Silver Dollar City

All the best Geoff, love you
I know where there is a parallel parking practice spot set up that could be used for the park-off.
@54:30 can "the making of the gurpler" be supplemental content? Gavin goes to the Gurpler factory to see how a gurpler goes from idea to production
