The fibreglass reinforced is a great idea ,never seen that material. Also the handle smart idea

The handles worked out great - it makes it so easy to pick the boat up without dragging it over the ground. I have seen allot of pelican kayaks with messed up hulls due to rocks. The keel protection should help. I will let you know how they make out once I put this little boat to the test of Algonquin Life. Thanks for reaching out.
