Little correction here, from what I see "Bold product options" doesn't allow grouping products it only allow adding any kind of option to your existing products.
Bold Product Options charges 19.99 for their cheapest plan and 49.99 for the most expensive one. They haven't made any improvements to the app and their customer service has gone downhill. They are better options out there now.
Hi Jody, great vid but we've got an issue, if all the stock runs out from the first 'hosting page' how do we make it so it doesn't show as out of stock if the other pages with other variants arent out of stock? Any help would be great, we keep hitting dead ends on this.
Unless you have an integration with your supplier, nothing happens. In order to have live inventory from your suppliers you will need to build an API connector. Some suppliers have invested in Apps that allow their retailers to do this, but most of the time its custom.
Hey Bobby, if you are looking for a solution to this, we have launched an app that allows selling upto 1000 real variants per product. apps.shopify.com/more-than-100-variants (Note that it is not another unlimited options app).
If you are looking for a way to bypass the 100 variant limit sell upto 1,000 real variants per product, check out apps.shopify.com/more-than-100-variants This is not an unlimited options app but a way to combine variants from upto 10 products into one.
You are probably using a different theme. You will find a .liquid file that is very similar to the one shown in the video. On Dawn Theme its named main-product.liquid. The code inside also looks different. Here its also not "
It's been a few years, and Shopify has updated its Dawn theme. 'product.liquid' is nowhere to be found. Others say it's now called 'main-product.liquid' but the section where the code should be placed is different too. Help please, anyone? Where do we place the code?

99 problems but variants ain't 1
very awesome! took me a while to find a tutorial explaining this, and you did a great job. very helpful, thanks!
I still can't manage to understand this, as I'm struggling to add more colours and materials to my product
This still doesn't tell me how to get three types of paint with 250 different colours from the same manufacturer into Shopify variants without an APP
My theme doesn't have a "form: action" section in the Product.liquid section. So how do I determine where to put the code?
Love these videos on shopify 👍

The Bold App is $19.99/month for basic and $49.99/ month for premium....not $10/month.
Video is 1 year old, times change man
Just thought people should know.
