Hello Sir, Love your videos, They are really helpful. To your last question, the value of the repayments (x) starting 6 months later is gonna be x = R2772.39c i.e. the number of payment is gonna be 55 (since its 60 - 6 +1 = 55)... 😊

Hello Sir thank you for the lesson. I am really lost on that 56 months at the end how did you arrive to that? Because the loan is paid after 6 months shouldn’t we just subtract that 5 months from 60 months and arrive at 55 remaining month?

    Formula correction
    FV (-pmt)(1-(i÷12×100)^n)÷I
    PV (-pmt)((i÷12×100)^(-n)-1)÷I
This is the correct format as per a financial calculator. This important at determines whether your result is negative or positive as a negative amount is your money.

31:20 The answer is R2772,39. I think you made a mistake at the number of months, it is supposed to be 55 not 56 cause the repayments were started at the 6th month which means you were supposed to say 60-5=55 (5 months of which you were not paying).

Okay l was confused why its 56 and not 55 then l remembered the time lapse between the granting of the loan and the first payment plus the payment made on the actual 6th month so its60-6 +(2)=56
