Downtown the Heart of Tigard

Exciting changes are transforming Downtown Tigard. The historic and walkable area has shopping, eating and drinking establishments, as well as superb transit service and access to the Fanno Creek and Tigard Street trails for bikers and walkers. Come experience the newly renovated Main Street. Visit the Sunday Farmers Market and bring your canine to the Ash Avenue Dog Park. Enjoy the decorative glass baskets and two new gateway sculptures that welcome visitors to Main Street.
Thanks to a voter-approved urban renewal district, the revitalization is well-underway. The City Center Development Agency-Tigard’s urban renewal agency-has guided the transformation in partnership with businesses and property owners, the Tigard Downtown Alliance and many others. The city and its partners are working to create more public spaces, easier access for people of all ages and abilities and attracting new residents and businesses.
