or the caenis interlude, like i just decided to do the last interludes available to me and out of nowhere i have to fight arjuna alter with a level 20 leonidas and level 70 colobus
Ironically the person that completely screws Oberon over is basic Abby. She removes all his buffs on NP forcing him to waste turns to restack them on himself. So she doesn't need the ignore invincibility. She just removes and barrels right through it all. Just stagger a combination of Castoria and Merlin and you're more or less set
I remember my three stacks of Van Gogh’s NP and all her buffs got purged after that break bar and felt like a slap in the face. At the end he put my Galatea to sleep when he only had 100k HP left and I was like: “WAKE UP!” 😂
Caenis's interlude isn't anything like ol Oberon here, but man did it catch me off guard! Also this is a good guide for this quest! I'll be ready for it when I get my own Oberon!
Take your time. LB6 won't go anywhere. And you need to prepare your team as the fight will be harder. LB1-2 are hard, but managable for new masters. LB3-4 are where things started to get tricky. LB5 part 1 is only a warming up stage. LB5 part 2 is straight up hard. LB5.5 is around on par with LB4 in term of overall difficulty. And LB6 is the hardest chapter period.
Glad I wasn't the only one blindsided by that fight lol. Took me three tries on my main but funny enough it was a lot easier on the alt account with a team of Hokusai and double Castoria. Hoku's debuff resistance was clutch at multiple points but I swear this fight is harder than the last fight from the actual Lost Belt lol.
here is tip : 1.put debuff immute CE on your castoria 2.i recommend use astraea with 50% NP CE (or Black Grail) 3.Bring archergale with Taunt CE 4.you give Astrea Buff removal buff (for archergale) 5..oberon will kill archergale 6.make sure bring extra buffer,well you can just bring oberon here 7.NUKE EM 8.oh if somehow at 1st turn is not your castoria (with debuff immune CE) who didnt get hit by sleep,reset the run
fun fact: this "Interlude" does not actually count towards the finishing Interludes Extra Missions idk why it doesn't because you can find the quest within the Interlude section of Chaldea Gate but it just doesn't
went into this fight with yang and double castoria and took the slow route due to the amount of gimmicks. i like how the buffs/debuffs he gives is represented by the opposite icon like the liar he is. this interlude was a priority for me since i love his 3rd ascension. his 3rd ascension voice is quite possibly my favorite of any servant.
I used Waver + Abigail + castoria support frontline then hao hao and koyan backrow. All equipped with regular k-scopes. Body Suit too Basically, just try and spam waver, castoria and koyan's NPs as they will mitigate or block oberon's NP. Abigail and Hao hao were my primary damage dealers. Also save up on ur command seals before you start (for full party revive, you'll most likely need it since not everything goes to plan). Even my whale friend had to use SQ for this fight.
True, but I did got around it with the Nightingale buff cancel resistance. Morgan did all the bars and I had Koyan with a debuff immune CE. I enjoyed the difficulty of this interlude. (funny, it's more difficult than his boss fight for me)
I actually cleared this first try without and prior knowledge with Yang equipped with honey lake as my main attacker. I pretty much used the same setup I cleared cernunnos and abyssal Oberon with and used Asclepius and castoria as my two supports. Funnily enough it took me two tries to clear abyssal Oberon whereas I kinda waltzed passed his interlude. Though I will say I got lucky at the end as he had the arts resist down for himself but I didn’t quite know the mechanic and still went for it and got him in one fell swoop.
I managed to 3T this fight on my channel! I used Leonidas with Outrage CE to divert sleep away from DPS for first turn. Used Beni-enma's Buff Removal Resist before second bar, and 3rd turn had a Poster Girl CE to divert Shadow Oberon's sleep to my Castoria after buffing 2nd turn. My DPS was MHXX with Ignore Invinicble on 3rd Skill to deal with last bar! :3
BB (4*) and ASSclapious was so Clutch on this fight , they are both super helpful on this fight both can Cleanse and add debuf immune as well as Prolong oberon as hes about to bust his NP, hes sleep can be so annoying so dealing with the sleep is key on this
Having Santa Nightingale is so, so helpful here. S1 can clear the sleep, S2 can protect your buffs… Combine that with double Castoria, DPS (Astraea for me), and another charger like Reines makes this practically a cakewalk. Made better by giving her Poster Girl, so after I swap her in and use her skills, Oberon would only target her and get rid of her in favor of my charger. So, so glad I finally went out of my way to level those skills
I ended up using Herc for the first 2 bars and finished him w/ Chloe. Was a tough fight until I put Chloe into the party, remembering she has sure hit on her NP. @_@
thanks for making this video for people who needed the help. Honestly with the servants i had geared more for survivability than bursting (except for farming), this was easier than his boss fight lol. good to see a guide explaining stuff i might have missed
OH MY GOD it was "sure hit" that was evade, I was so damned confused on what was allowing him to evade, trying to figure out what gave him the evade for me was the hardest part of the fight until I said eff it and went with a invul pierce ce, thanks to that I was able to 3 turn it with Arjuna Alter, double koyan (mine with a debuff immune ce), lvl 60 Santa Nightingale with a taunt ce, Oberon, and of course the good ol trusty plug suit.
I originally had gone in with MHXX and Herc in the back, but they weren't able to sustain enough damage. I switched to having Ryouma in the front and MHXX in the back which led to her slaughtering Oberon when Ryouma was taken out
I still had the team set up which I'd used to take him down in the LB 6 final fight, so it wasn't an issue. The Caenis interlude fights took me by surprise though, particularly the first one as I didn't know what I was getting into so it wiped me.
I'm starting to dread Servants that come with 3rd ascension you need to unlock via interlude quest, as my experience with Oberon, Charlemagne, and Komahime are all like these.
I tried to bring Santa Nightingale to this fight, only for her to be put to sleep every single time, lol. Then I ditched her and put on Mystic Code with debuff cleanse instead. Borrowed Castoria was a blessing, protecting MHXX, MIXA and Abby while they were dealing with the boss. His stupid Evade and random Buster resisitance wasted 2 of Abby's NP (okey, the evade one was just me being forgetful idiot, lol) but she still finished him off after all other dps died.
if u have oberon castoria santagale and yang guifei,u can do this.i cleared this with np1 guifei+honey lake ce.honey lake+castoria's threat to humanity bonus gives haohao massive np dmg
Santa nightingale is super clutch for this and makes super easy and just bring any zerk to this if u have Morgan than it makes it even more easy due to mod against fae. Also have one more dps in the back to finish his last hp bar
I used XX/MLB Smile on a Painted Face with double Castoria in the front, and Hao Hao/MLB Honey Lake in the back who showed up when I lost XX when he focus fired on her (he's such a jerk). Between them they smacked him around pretty well (XX took down first his two breakbars and Hao Hao finished him off).
I did this by plugging out santagale after dumping all her buffs onto my luvia and just triple launched her NP which obliterated each bar each turn lol this was, however very RNG reliant because I needed at least 1 luvia arts card for the first 2 waves to completely refund her NP
I had prepared Yuyu, but then he started unpredictable NPing. So it ended up being a 77 turn slugfest with me slowly damaging him with 2 castorias, Merlin and Mash
This gimmick of confusing buffs is complete bullshit. Sleep gimmicks aside, why the fuck is Oberon trolling us so hard in this quest?! I hate this fight...
I had to use 2 cs for this quest even though I had like 3 foreigners in my team💀. probably should have brought a second castoria instead of a second gohie
just use meatal debut immune ce on santa nightingale and your castoria and use someone like astraea with a castoria support. You can easily 3 turn it. I used galatea with double castoria and oberon to 3 turn it.
Moth man straight up lied about his evade being a "5 times" sure hit lol. I sussed the evade out because what kind of true hit last for 5 times? Did saved his ass from a big boy Enkidu damage np once though
honestly I've been taking my sweet time with LB6, and I actually kinda like White Oberon so I'm treasuring this time I have with him before I probably immediately do his interlude to unlock 3rd and 4th ascension I didn't get Morgan, but at least I got Koyanskaya and Oberon so for now I'm just saving for Skadi's rerun on christmas. By the by, that makes me ask should I save up for regular Skadi or Summer Skadi who should be coming next summer?

I went in blind, and this was honestly a very fun battle. Started up with Voyager, because hey, I still like to use Quick sometimes despite it being at the bottom of the totem pole, and I figured a kind welcome was what Oberon needed. alas, while he did a good job, he ended up not being able to overcome Oberon's various bullshits and fell on the last bar. Which is where Morgan came out from the backline to finish the job. So basically this battle turned into a : - step 1 : try to defeat Oberon with the power of Friendship - step 2 : realize the power of Friendship doesn't work - step 3 : defeat Oberon with the power of Incredible Violence
This fight is annoying as shit, random sleep rng, sometime charge, sometime not, sleep after np, so u got 1 turn to attack until next np, random cryptic evade description on T3 If anything, this shit is a pain in the ass to do
Honestly not that hard, I completed it only using lb6 servant (muramasa, Tristan, oberon on first row, mash davinci and castoria and back line) and it only took my 29 turn

For this fight, Medea with honey lake was my mvp in a double castoria setup

I used a combination of Sanzang, Merlin, and Aseclipus for this fight. Took a long time but i cleared it.
