My cav Ernie loves other dogs and people equally. I have to put him in doggie daycare at least once a week or else he goes through "withdrawal" so to speak and throws tantrums if he can't meet a dog we see on our walks. He is extremely social, and the life of the party at daycare. If we have anyone over like repairman he is obsessed with following them around and jumping on them to get attention. I usually take him with me out and about so he isn't pestering them. He loves kids, too. If he hears a kid even from far off he is drawn to them like a magnet. He is clearly thinking, "Aha! Human puppies! It's time to play"! All part of being a cav owner in my experience.

My cav gets a long just fine with other dogs but... if I take her to the dog park she'd rather say hello to the people 😂

Hehe sorry for saying this again but i have just recently gotten a ruby cavalier king charles and shes so cute but she bites absolutely everything! I have tried many things but it just doesnt work, do you have any advice?
Ps: do they grow out of it as they get older? Just curious :) shes 12 weeks old right now!
I have two Blenheim Cavaliers and the boy is 28 pounds and his sister is 20 pounds just like the Cavaliers you met. I’m 6’5” so I can appreciate being bigger
if possible maybe do one with cats if you have not because i might be geting one in the next year or so and i live with two cats
My 2.5 year haaaaates people she doesnt know trying to pet the top of her head. We always say to people “go under the chin”. With us and close friends its fine but most others its a no go!
My Ollie is very good with dogs he knows, but not so much with strangers. He is, however, great with people whether he knows them or not.
My dog love’s ladys but male dogs is a no no. He himself is an unneutered male. He also doesn’t like to be pet by people he doesn’t know. But if he likes you then you Will get a very tight hug and he wil “talk” to you to tell you how much he love’s you. Charlie is now 3 1/2 Year.
My Elsa crazy for people not really care about the other dogs lol
