- Tomorrow is the sale of one of the most hyped RLCS of 2024. I have already purchased overdrive and will be receiving an R34 very soon. There are those who have not purchased overdrive but still have the basic RLC membership. This video is to give tips and advice to newcomers of RLC while also sharing my own experience. Okay so I just used my own method(put something else in the cart to bypass crash) and it worked. Did it work for anyone else?

I got into a 4 min queue and then after that it resets me into a 12 min queue. Thenn it sold out after 5 mins

I don't have overdrive but got it with a 9 min wait in line..last RLC I purchased was the pink mustang cobra..that sold out pretty quickly also.

First RLC here. Got mine with RLC Membership in cart, waited 10 min in checkout. Everything went smoothly

Watching this video after being able to snag one and I guess I was super lucky since I just happened to check my email and saw the drop and just went from there. A few moments of worry but I was able to get it. Either way great advice and a solid video. Subbed
My first rlc was the r34 Nismo from 2022. My experience was good, no hiccups whatsoever. AND it was numbered, so I guess that was a win.
I missed out on that one. I remember purposely not getting it because I didn’t want to get into RLC but then I bought my first one and I immediately fell in love with

Good one! I am only hoping that it should be relatively easier considering the pagani is still available. Thats like two weeks after the drop. That makes me think that these RLCs no longer have an upper limit on the production quantity. It has both ups and downs.. The upside is when they make 20,000 or 30,000 or God knows how many, nobody is trying to hoard them anymore, atleast no one should right? The downside is that the membership has lost its "exclusive" nature, there is no thrill of owning a limited edition collectible anymore..
It has changed the game from "wow! that guy has some cool gems in his collection" to "yeah! he's got all the RLC releases from last year like the 20,000 other people in the world"
its like we're just paying all the upmarket money for the spectraflame paint jobs and the occasional acrylic case... and the fact that we are completionists lol!

I got one did not need to add anything else to my cart and waited 10 mins to checkout. They have sold out though.
I was able to get 2 without over drive but had to wait 8 min to checkout it was sold out as soon as my second payment went trew luckily
I got 2 of them.did not have to buy anything extra.the site even crashed twice on me but I still got two of them.don’t have overdrive just a basic rlc membership.you just have to time it just right and be extremely quick
I thought there was a limit of 1 per customer?
@@lonelion8341 there was a limit of one per customer but you can have more than one account.that’s how I got two I also have two accounts

I got lucky i managed to grab one after being on a long queue, luckily rlc releases just so happen to be on my break so i was there the exact minute it released.
Got the r34 with a 8 min wait time. Last rlc I bought was the red 454 ss
As soon as it droped the website crashed. Get back on, had a stupid capcha then waited 12mins, as soon as it checked was Said sold out, first one i get ever ans the only one inreally wanted! Soo happy

I also managed to snag 1 with a 12min wait but on my second acct, the one minute extra wait and it was sold out. But I am grateful to get any at all.

Update: I was able to get 2 I also don’t have overdrive or anything like that for anyone wondering. Idek if it’s sold out as of 25 minutes after dropping.

I had to deal with the website crash and 2 captchas, I had a 6 minute wait to checkout and I ordered it. I bought the rlc membership last weekend cuz I wanted this car so bad
First time trying to get a car as soon as it released and I was able to get 2 super happy

Sad part is there were several people on discord that proved they bought 50+ of them. And mattel, even though received complaints, still allowed it.
I was there on time and it sold out while I was checking out after the dreadful wait list.

The lack of production knowing scalpers will charge ridiculous amounts for resale just to profit is why I could care less about drops like these. I searched Skyline and found the hks 2 pack with the van and r33. It showed on Google and went to the page but searched their website itself and it didn't show. The website sounds to bugged for real legitimacy.
Got 2 with Overdrive and went 1 and 1 without. So 3 altogether. Mattel has screwed me multiple times which is why I have both. I tried the trick of putting something in my cart with the pink Skyline. Did not work ×2

Buy overdrive for maybe one car a year ? Not worth it .
Overdrive is so worth it. You don't deal with all these issues and it's for more then just 1 car..
So far I have five cars and there are two or three more coming. Most of us want more than one car.

@@preludeboy99 got it through a group chat but I’m sure this person uses a website that shows Mattel’s current stock. Most RLC drops are 30k-40k stocked

Over drive defeats the purpose and the thrill of the hunt
lol if the thrill is getting super anxious for half the day and getting even more anxious for 10 minutes then sure. Personally I haven’t felt more stressed in that short time frame in a long time
I have overdrive and got to agree, still I try to grab another the old fashioned way
Overdrive guarantees me I won't have to pay a scalper to have one finally!
