You can save time on the cut to 1 by selecting the whole sample, then clicking on the button Regions, the fifth one from the left, and then "Set all cut groups to"
Great tip! You can save even more time by auto-mapping the slices to the pads. Just click the Region button, then "Assign all to" > MPC pads. (...Also, if you wanna do them one by one you can simply hover over "Trigger note" and hit the pad, there's no need to click the "last hit" option. Or if you want to do it even quicker click "assign notes to all" and then hit all the pads you wannt to use.)

Wow you're literally the first person to EVER say this in any comment under any tutorial ever. There hasn't been a single person making videos that I've come across that's explained it this simply. lmao. How is this possible?
Ooops you said "Fruity" Loops! You're an OG for sure!! 🤣🤣 I remember when it first came out. It wasn't great but they made lots of improvements since I was introduced in 2005.
Here from r/youtubers, for some reason the post is locked there, so I wanted to give you feedback here. The video is great! I love the humor at the beginning when you showed P-Diddy dancing. The audio and visual quality is great. The only thing that I think could be improved is bringing up the volume on your voice a bit. I also make music on my channel, so maybe I'm not the freshest audience, but I feel like this would be engaging for people who don't make music. Great work. I subbed.
Thank you for the help brother, I didn’t think this was your first video it is really interesting and good quality and engaging keep it up bro!! Plus nice song bro good beat, good lyrics you feel mee
You should consider doing a garage band tutorial for an akai. I bet it would be easy for someone who's proficient in fruity loops. Garage band sucks, but a lot of people use it, and there aren't very many tutorials.
yo man do you know literally everyone links the whatever drums they want to use to fpc and just make the beat that way? well there's one guy who made this tutorial on how to do it on separate channels all at once somehow using the akai editor software. Would you have any insight on how he did this? because the template he provided in the video cost's $4 but Im not paying that if ik i could just do it myself! Anyways I enjoyed the video, it was actually a really helpful tip for chopping samples.
I just stopped using the FPC for sampling recently because I started using the SlicEx. With Slicex I don't have to chop samples up in Edison. Once you auto slice you can just play all the chops across you Keyboard. I use MPC software also. Same shit 🤷🏾♂️ I also stopped using FPC because you can't play notes with one shots. It's all in C
FL is awesome but even with my MPK I run into annoying stuff like that. Serato isnt as capable of a program but this takes seconds and I wish the difference in time wasnt so much lol. I guess use both but i have the free versions rn.
Nah B i watched the whole video. Dropped a like and subbed in. Thats fl studios 12? I got the mpc essentials and it reads my pads but theirs no sound. I go back to FL studios or anything else n i got sound. I was lookin for a video on that but yo thumbnail katchy. Preciate the video

@@armdatrack You are great! I succeeded thanks to you. I've been trying for this for a long time
Dude this helped so many people who were using FPC (like me) to put samples onto tracks. You're the best bro
Man, I’ve been taking chops fro SliceX am loading them into the FPC... your process bypasses the FPC and seems more efficient, thank you!
Needed this I'm about to go Kanye during this quarantine. 😂
353 BEATZ same brother. Keep striking!!!
LOCK URSELF IN UR ROOM DOING 5 BEATS A DAY FOR 3 SUMMERS

His first set up is on point for a mix preset, but the rest was unnecessary. Just load the chops straight into the fpc with a pad preset.
I can definitely look into it. Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you
Bro you killed me, we all had the same situation
Damm bro you legit
Thanks!
hahah this is just what i needed to learn
What not just use FPC?
Because you still have to chop your samples, it’s quicker for me to hit “slice by” and go from there
xDotComx damn, I guess I just never really though of not using FPC. Thanks again, keep up the good work

So it’s actually fl studio 20 cause I’m on Mac. I haven’t used the mpc DAW but I’d check your midi set up or your audio routing from the DAW
Thanks pimp. I got it. Mpc is to like making samples?
