You got any tips on how to bring the power forward through the hips, not around the hits? (So the back foot doesn't collapse or fall over when you turn your hips)
Daniel, my biggest advice is to not teach the hips. The hips will do what they need to do. Teach the shoulders. I talk a lot about this on my blog as The Catapult Loading System. Less emphasis on hips, more on shoulders.
do you have any focus on clearing the hips? or do you focus on clearing the shoulders and letting the hips follow through? also what do you think about the length at toe touch? is it really necessary for shorter guys to get longer?
I focus on loading the upper half (namely the shoulders) and let the pelvis clear naturally. Stride length depends on what the hitter is comfortable with. It's a timing thing, so whatever stride method they choose, we optimize that for timing.
Hey, It's Daniel again, and thanks for the original tip, it really boosted my power. Anyway, I need help on driving the back leg, like the MLB players do (I'll show in a link with Mike Trout, the part where his back knee comes through and he does it so well, that his back toe comes off the ground) th-cam.com/video/lX_dm39fkfw/w-d-xo.html . I have been trying to do this and sometimes I am able to and sometimes I am not, and I would like to perfect it to get my swing to the next level. Thanks.
Uses his body so well! Thanks for posting!

Alright, hope you don't mind me asking one more question. What's correctly happens when hitting a ball low in the zone?
In what part of the swing?
right from the get go, how do you use the body to get the barrel on the pitch plane?
