I couldn’t tell you how many times I was just thinking about a technique or product then - voila - you end up using it in a project… I have some of the Tim Holtz blueprints that I was thinking about this weekend that they would be great to use for a series of mini pages in a disc-bound journal… and… it’s been quite a while since I colored images with my inks. Thanks for the reminder to enjoy playing with what we already have… and that when you love a particular product - use it again & again because it brings you joy! Little does she know that I’m certain I am personally said dumb bell because I actually pay her to tell me to pick it up! However, if I didn’t pay her to tell me that, I would never touch the thing! It’s such a vicious cycle that I live in... 🙄 I love today’s project...fall is a beautiful season! TFS!

I've been a card maker for many, many years and it's only been the last 2 years or so that I've been experimenting with mixed media techniques. I love watching your videos and have been inspired by you to start my own art journal - it arrived in the mail today and I can't wait to create! Although we don't have the Fall leaves, apples, acorns in Hawai'i like on the mainland U.S. this page inspires me to visit during the season to see these sumptuous topaz, amber, and ruby colors. I have favorites that I keep and others that I have to give to crafty friends to make room for new collections. Remember though that it’s my job , using new things makes my channel more interesting but nobody should have as much as I do, if it’s just their hobby !
