    Kyle, great video. I am in the process of refurbishing my 1999 9-5 SE. it only has 99K on it.
    I am also working on my 1976 EMS.
    Thanks for sharing your builds, it gives us Saab-aholics a boost to keep on wrenching.

      That's the same quote $700 I got here in Tx and same color for a single stage, and that's what I'll be getting on mine.

    Came out awesome. Sand blast wheels with new center caps, use Trimshine for black plastic trims and would look like new. Looking for a new car intro like walk around :-)

    • @KylePancis

      Yes! Center caps are on the way...once they are in Il will be doing the rims to make the final touch haha!

    Watch wheeler dealers episode on the Saab viggen it's on TH-cam. Could solve your coolant leak. 2 try bolts

    • @KylePancis
      @KylePancis  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saw that! This one isn't leaking from the head gasket thankfully

    • @Halibrand
      @Halibrand 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The headbolts comming loose is only a problem on the early T7 9-3 and 9-5s up to model year 2001, The tool that installed and torqued the headbolts on the factory had a programming bug in it so the two left front headbolts did not get torqed properly.

      @@KylePancis Slow coolant leaks on -04 are usually comming from the water pump axle, or possibly from the o-rings on the coolant pipe connecting the waterpump to the engine block.

    Looks great! I like the sharknose :)
    I also have a leak and it bothers me.
    I miss some boost loss, the stage 1 with a 1-year old turbo should do 1.2 bar but in OpenSID the pressure inlet does not get higher than 2000 (so that ie one bar of added boost of the turbo of the atmosphere) and the long term fuel trim 'Amul' is -900 (-9%) on highways... already changed the mass air flow sensor and EVAP check valves but no differences. Should also do a leak test, I guess.

  • @mds2465

    My guess is that it’s probably a very slow coolant leak coming from the radiator
