H. Moser & Cie x MB&F - Unveiling the Streamliner Pandamonium (Only Watch 2023)

Maximilian Büsser and Edouard Meylan have collaborated for a second time for the Only Watch charity auction organised to raise funds for the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy, co-creating an exceptional one-off piece dedicated to music. Baptised the H. Moser X MB&F Streamliner Pandamonium, it features a minute repeater complication led by a miniature DJing panda, a creature that has become the signature of the Only Watch creations by MB&F.

Such a cool watch and incredible collab. Amazing how much technical innovation went into it. Even the artistry just on the panda. Would be interesting to see if the case design was useful for a “simpler” movement inside :) LM101 ? 😅

They make a good double act. Two things are missing from a lot of these watches given that apart from being like JC Biver commented several years ago, ‘Art.’ You should be able to easily and legibly read the time and wear them comfortable with the benefit of a Rolex-style ‘Easylink’ tool free adjustment which the Streamliner never has when it was introduced around 2019.

Comparisons to the Bel Canto are obvious & unavoidable, but then so is the LM’s influence on the Bel Canto itself. A case of circular inspiration, but the BC was the hot ticket when this was being conceived so why not ride that wave? All’s fair in love & philanthropy.
