That is why I always suggest it at Wembley and suggest the pay attention during the chorus, lots of reactors miss it on this and other videos. Yes Floor is the growler during all the chorus, and Marko sings the clean vocals. 😎😂
It is true, at Wembley the grunting of the floor in the choir is much better noticeable, it is better video for people to react, but personally I like this one more, Likewise, she already knew that "floor" makes good grunts, she commented on it in a previous reaction, when she did
Great reaction as always. I missed the shock that most reactors experience when they realize Floor is growling until I remembered that you have already reacted to those growls in a previous video. Floor is the most versatile and dynamic singer I’ve ever heard.

There are many songs in the After Forever group where Floor shows the power of her opera vocals, I don’t I saw not some opera singer who could sing like that, but I saw a lot of opera singers on TH-cam who sing like Tarja.
Did you miss the fact that she’s the one doing those deep guttural growls? What’s even more fascinating about her singing is the switch between styles as you said but the fact that she can go to those deep deep growls like an animal and then go back to sing in those beautiful tones
Nightwish are areally great, and encapsulated "symphonic metal" subgenre. Some metal-loving dudes decided to start a band with an operatically-trained singer, and magic was born.
So happy I'm finally going to my first concert with them in Oslo this year and at the same time bummed that Marco resigned :( If only the concert hadn't been moved from last year. That synergy he and Floor has in their vocals is just awesome

Symphonic metal full throttle, two other tracks to check for symphonic metal WITH LIVE ORCHESTRA are.. Dimmu borgir, gateways wacken 2012 Septicflesh, Anibus, live MMXIX.. Agnete Kjølsrud and Sotiris Vayenas are the clean singers respectively (along with choirs...) Sotirus especially has an incredible tone to his voice.
Interesting you mentioned the 'Kracken', this was a Cruise ship they were performing on ;) it's a pity you missed the fact it was Floor doing the deep growls.. not surprised, many miss it not believing that sound is made by her after such clear vocals.

I would like to recommend to you the Band Nothing But Thieves. The leadsinger has an incredible and unique voice and the songs are also gorgeous. Amsterdam would be my recommendation as the first song to look into.

Shes heard the Valkyrie Goddess growl before ( wild card) so maybe she just didnt mention it but you would think she would . If she didnt hear it , i dont get how , its frustrating how people dont pick it up
I have recently becoming completely enamoured with Floor and Nightwish. Her version of Adagio by Laura Fabian is out of this world and I love the style of the video because you can really get an appreciation for her technique. Hi Beth I love the expressions on reactors when they realized it was Floor doing the growls. Tarja has a new single out with the band Primal Fear it's called I will be gone. At Wembley you can hear her better.

When Emppu starts the Killer Riff you know all will be good........Our Queen moving from Growling Demon to Siren and back again.....awesome.....although I tend to say the Wembley Version is a little better....but I will not complain as long as I can hear Floor growl on this..... personally think, when it comes to the song as a whole unit (the growls are really not that important because they are just a background to Marko's lead vocals in the chorus), the Cruise version is the overall best sounding one, followed by Mexico. Then comes Tampere....Joensuu....QStock. Wembley with it's dry, compressed vocal mix can bugger of to the end of the line just in front of the awful sound of the unofficial Rock in Rio performance recording...
With Nightwish there is never a wrong version, but I suggest to have a look at the Wembley version as well. It by the way also shows more of the growling Floor is doing :-)

You should react to Love in Vain by The Rolling Stones, live from Texas, 1972 or from Get Yer Ya Ya's Out. Personally, I prefer the Ya Ya's version. Love in Vain was originally written by Robert Johnson in 1937.
No one expects Floor to be doing the growls. Those of us who know the sound of Marco's voice catch it, but it's so out of character for a female voice that most people miss it.
Can u PLEASE react to anything by The Civil Wars!!!! They were a duo from about 8 years ago that I feel had some of the best harmonies ever. Barton hollow or billie jean or poison and wine. personally think, when it comes to the song as a whole unit (the growls are really not that important because they are just a background to Marko's lead vocals in the chorus), the Cruise version is the overall best sounding one, followed by Mexico. Then comes Tampere....Joensuu....QStock. Wembley with it's dry, compressed vocal mix can bugger of to the end of the line just in front of the awful sound of the unofficial Rock in Rio performance recording...

With Nightwish there is never a wrong version, but I suggest to have a look at the Wembley version as well. It by the way also shows more of the growling Floor is doing :-)

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't notice that Floor was doing the guttural growls in the chorus - I thought the last note would give it away if not before. Check out the Wembley version, it is a bit higher in the mix on that one!

Yes floor has done that with revamp 2010 mfvf they did their normal set with is a little heavier then at the end performed o mio bambino caro.

No one expects Floor to be doing the growls. Those of us who know the sound of Marco's voice catch it, but it's so out of character for a female voice that most people miss it.
If you've heard any songs by Floor OR Marko you should be able to tell which one is singing...
Can u PLEASE react to anything by The Civil Wars!!!! They were a duo from about 8 years ago that I feel had some of the best harmonies ever. Barton hollow or billie jean or poison and wine. This version is maybe not the best for this, but it´s VERY interesting, when a VOCAL COACH misses a fact, that there is someone growling, and what´s even more interesting, it´s actually a female..................... This really seemed more like a Patreon request, to get it done and let´s move on.
