I was just playing around with the line 6 hx stomp and started playing Metallica riffs! I learned all their early stuff while grounded for months on end in the Late 80s. Great video!
Wow, thanks. I was just checking out me-90 videos to decide if it's a good upgrade from my gt-1 and you've completely convinced me. Great playing and tones!
@@rannz8 ah that’s very kind of you to ask mate but no promo/commission code for this one, it’s a paid demo tho so I’m lucky to be able to work with them on videos like this. It’s a superb pedalboard - hope you enjoy the patches!
@@rannz8 awesome, you’re very welcome! I’ve got another demo with some more free patches so be sure to check those out. Both on the boss tone exchange website 😊🤘
Unfortunately not mate, I checked with boss and it’s totally different architecture. You could possibly download the me-90 tone editor and import the patches to see all the settings and copy them that way tho, but not sure how close they’d be
Both have great tones tbh, but the main factors I’d consider would be budget and whether you’re happy with menus to edit the parameters in the case of the Matribox, or if you like a more hands on approach as per the ME-90 - the me 90 is also more of a pedalboard format which is cool

Wow. Great vid as always. I’m also impressed your t shirt fit after all these years . Mine certainly doesn’t 😂
Haha it was a bit big for me back then 😂
Thanks for the patches! Sounds incredible! As always, top quality video.
You're welcome mate!
How can i use the patches? Ive already download the file, but how can i open IT?
So cool to see you speed up! Great video Matt!
Thanks!

Thanks mate and glad you found the video useful!
Awesome tones, man! Sounds just as good with some alternate picking!
Thanks buddy and welcome to the alt picking fan club haha 🤘😀
I was debating getting this or the ZOOM G5n. The harmonist on the ME-90 was the deciding factor. Glad I found this vid!
Welcome mate!
Nice playing, man!
Cheers bud!
Pretty precise tones there😊
Thanks! 😊
And this convinces me that the me 90 is the pedal for me
Thank you
@@Dog_Botherer glad it helped!
Sweet ! 🔥👍
😊🤘
Well played Sir!! 🍻 What kind of pickups are in that PRS Custom? Great tone all around
Thanks! Bareknuckle Silos 🤘😊
Who would have thought that Kirk Hammett and Steve via could be played with the same tone, boom
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Will those patches work on the me-90b?
not sure if they're compatible between the two models
What daw are you using
Cubase (free one i got with my steinberg UR12 audio interface and still use it now)
What amp are you playing this through if that matters at all
No amp as the pedalboard has built in amp sims - recorded straight into my audio interface
are the patches hard to download
@@aceruiz8151 yup on the boss tone exchange see link in description
@@LetsPlayAll thanks for the help
hi! is there a noise gate in this unit?
yup!
What amp did you use this demo?
I didn’t mate, this is pedalboard straight into audio interface - the amp and cab sims are built into the pedal 😀🤘
@@LetsPlayAll thanks for you great video. If Im using roland cube 80x can I still use your patch knowing you already save the cab and amp sim?
@@marciper-eq4xz yea just turn off the cab sim bit of the patch on the me90 if you’re using it in front of an amp 🤘😊
Will any of these patches work on a ME80?
I doubt it mate Boss have separate sections for each product on their Tone Exchange website so that’d suggest each model has different architecture
@@LetsPlayAll ok, I don't have either but I'm gonna order the 90 model. Is there a promo code they gave you so you get commission

I got my GX100 just 3 months before the release of the ME-90 , I would love these patches on my GX100, can it be done?
Unfortunately not mate, I checked with boss and it’s totally different architecture. You could possibly download the me-90 tone editor and import the patches to see all the settings and copy them that way tho, but not sure how close they’d be
are these default IRs?
Yup 👍
I have installed the pack, but only 8 out of 10 presets are shown that match Metal Collection 1. What am I doing wrong?
I didn’t create that pack mate so not sure
Mantab
I cant open the file. Someone help me
You need to install the Boss Me 90 editing software to access the file 🤘
Can you get Nirvana or Pixies tone there? 🙏
Yea for sure mate
@@LetsPlayAll Thank you absolute awesomeness 🤟
Hi my friends boss me90 or matribox 2 sonicake?Which one for the best sounds?Thank you very much,à bientot.
