Really enjoyed this video, especially as a new-ish player with like 5-10 games on TTS and building my physical army right now. It’s really helpful to hear your thoughts on why X is good, etc. I don’t play 100K but still super helpful. Would love to see more of these videos 😄 (Dweghom maybe 👀😅)
I enjoyed your video and agree. Crimson Tower for their price has been weak/lack luster. I think if they gave them “shock” it would finally make them what they should be, considering their battlefield role is “heavy shock cavalry.” Shock or overrun. But that Clash 3 is pretty bad when you’re relying on 4 impact hits per model to really do your damage and to buff them to clash 4 on the charge you need to spend like 50 points alongside your priory commander on 1 unit to make their impact hits reliable. Order of Ashen Dawn should be fine where they’re at for 240 pts. I’ve realized they’re a great stand alone unit that lives up to the battlefield role “elite cavalry.” I believe they’re designed to be able to handle any situation they’re in independently/ with little to no support. Which is what you’d expect from a true elite unit.
I'd agree they're over costed, I think pitting an officer that adds to the charge distance or something would help. Hell, any officer that does anything. That way, they can take veterans. Making them a heavier, better HHK.
As an interested (but not invested) player, this helps a lot. Currently thinking about starting either 100 kingdoms or nords.

You could still cast self spells to another regiment 8” away if chapter mage is warlord so i think school of air is still quite viable.
Legionnaires are cheaper than MaA now. I think that's crazy!
