Also to change the behaviour of the function keys F1 through F10 for your different edit and tool modes on a mac im pretty sure you can go to apple system settings and keyboard shortcuts to make them function as standard function keys.

Great video. I haven't finished watching but isn't there a short cut to add playlists on the fly. Not loop recording into new playlists but recording over a section of lets say a vocal track but before the punch out point you press something to generate a new playlist for that newly recorded part

Something I use a lot is Ctrl+Drag a clip (or Cmd on a Mac) left and right. That basically ignores the selected edit mode (e.g. Grid) and moves the clip as in Slip mode.

Wayne.wav went and try Reaper. Basically, I needed to adapt myself to Pro Tools, but now, Reaper adapts itself to me.
